NiftyFox Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 Do they really need another striker?
Bugg Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 Must mean a few strikers are on their way out, I can't imagine he's going to be able to keep RVP, Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck happy with Lewandowski coming in.
shen Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 I'm not sure I understand this move, unless Dortmund can't offer him remotely as much as Man Utd. He's playing with two of the world's leading attacking prospects in Reus and Götze, he's guaranteed first team football, he's loved there and there's a good bet they'll play CL for years to come. definitely not finners Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 Obviously Lewandowski offers him something that Hernandez doesn't and RVP is at the end of his career. Probably not a ringing endorsement for Wellbeck if he signs though. Hope it's bollocks, mind. Would love the core of this Dortmund side to stay together. definitely not finners Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 RVP at the end of his career? He's 29!!!! #peak Ferguson is and always has been a forward thinker. RVP is an injury prone player with maybe one or two seasons left as a top four player. Lewandowski is a terrific athlete with years on Van Persie yet. 21st Century Fox Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 I like SAF new tactics. Ship a load and then make sure you've got the fire power to score one more, crafty.

Fox92 Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 If true, £12million does seem like a great deal for United.
Bryn Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 Rooney will move deeper and deeper, hence why United haven't splashed on a centre mid. Lewandowski is the long term replacement for RVP.

Danno Posted 3 December 2012 Share Posted 3 December 2012 According to a Man Utd mate hes apparently turning Welbeck into more of a left winger and Rooneys suppose to be turned into a centre mid.

I thought i read sometime back that there was an offer on the table for Man U to sign a CM with Hernandez going the other way in a part exchange...
