Asha Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 That fvcking giant Croatia flag kept filling up the camera shots of the podium

Amin Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Me, my brother and a mate have decided to go to Spa next year to see our first ever F1 race. I'm pretty sure it works out cheaper than going to Silverstone, should be more interesting too.
isaidno Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I did monza cheaper than Silverstone, and that included flights, accommodation and race tickets. Silverstone is a rip off.
Asha Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Looks like Massa is probably heading to Lotus. http://www.racingfanatic.net/2013/09/felipe-massa-has-edge-on-nico.html
Finnegan Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 Looks like Massa is probably heading to Lotus. http://www.racingfanatic.net/2013/09/felipe-massa-has-edge-on-nico.html Massive shame, I'd love to have seen what you and Walkers would have done if he'd gone McLaren.
Asha Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 I'm sure we'd do the same thing as if Hamilton went to Ferrari. One of us would continue to love him. The other would learn to.
Amin Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 If you thought Kimi's return to Ferrari was crazy, it's nothing compared to this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula-one/24171278 I can't believe McLaren would take him back after 2007. I suppose time really is a great healer.

I suppose time really is a great healer. Alonso left Mclaren because of Ron Dennis and Hamilton, both have now left. Alonso's on along term contract at Ferrari, can't see it happening.
Asha Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Interesting stuff. I know they're unlikely to be as bad again next season, but surely at the moment moving to McLaren is a massive step back? They haven't won a podium this year ffs.
Brainy Posted 21 September 2013 Posted 21 September 2013 Sergio Perez was signing for the team with the quickest car at the end of last season, where has that got him? Current performance means nothing, infact if anything McLaren might have been working longer of next season than Ferrari have so it may prove to be a good option

My flatmate is far more in to F1 than I am so I'm not sure where he's read this but apparently Ferrari have big concerns about their new engines for next season.
VinceNoir Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 4 laps in and Vettel is already 6 seconds ahead.
Amin Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Pretty good race in the end. Great drives from the top 3.
isaidno Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Webber given 10 place grid penalty for catching a lift with Alonso
Mack Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 I've given up on it because of Vettel who seems to be fast becoming Schumacher number 2. OK well done for being so good but racing needs just that, racing. Close changing of the lead and a competative championship where more than one guy can win. I hope next year one of the other teams can match a good driver with a superb can and at least run it close, or else I wont bother with it.
Brainy Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 There's no denying that Vettel is a world class driver but there are atleast two other drivers who would have won the past four years aswell if they were driving the Red Bull.
Asha Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 I agree, if Hamilton or Alonso were in the Red Bull they would have been devastating too.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 We did decent, no points again though
isaidno Posted 27 September 2013 Posted 27 September 2013 Possibly 22 races next season 2014 Calendar 16 March: Australia (Melbourne) 30 March: Malaysia (Sepang) 6 April: Bahrain (Sakhir) 20 April: China (Shanghai) 27 April: Korea (Korea International Circuit)* 11 May: Spain (Barcelona) 25 May: Monaco (Monaco) 1 June: Grand Prix of America, New Jersey* 8 June: Canada (Montreal) 22 June: Austria (Red Bull Ring) 6 July: Britain (Silverstone) 20 July: Germany (Hockenheim) 27 July: Hungary (Budapest) 24 August: Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps) 7 September: Italy (Monza) 21 September: Singapore (Marina Bay) 5 October: Russia (Sochi)* 12 October: Japan (Suzuka) 26 October: Abu Dhabi (Yas Marina) 9 November: USA (Austin) 16 November: Mexico (Mexico City)* 30 November: Brazil (Interlagos) * Subject to the circuit approval Looking at going to Hungary again next season, because it is so cheap
Amin Posted 6 October 2013 Posted 6 October 2013 Great drive from Hulkenberg today, really hope he gets the Lotus drive next year. Raikkonen managed to pull another podium out of his arse . And that jeep .
Super_horns Posted 6 October 2013 Posted 6 October 2013 Good race beyond Vettel's cruise to the line.
isaidno Posted 6 October 2013 Posted 6 October 2013 Hulkenberg deserves a top drive. He's a class driver.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 6 October 2013 Author Posted 6 October 2013 Suzy Perry has put some weight on. Is she up the duff?
