This season I think our worst performance in a game that we won would have to be Burnley, two fortunate goals but even then I felt we did enough to earn the three points. I'd hardly call it an undeserved victory.

Didn't think we were that good against Brighton but we won.

Southampton under Sven last year, we scored on pretty much our only attacks including Bamba blatently fouling their player, then they dominated us.

We didn't play poorly though and we could quite reasonably have had two penalties prior to that.

Middlesbrough away this season was a bit lucky for us, winning with a deflected last-minute goal.

Not through playing poorly, but by being 2nd best when we beat Southampton 3-2 beginning of last season.

That second half they just ran us ragged and we didn't have a reply. Kasper saved us that day from an embarrassing scoreline. Plus Bamba scored from a blatant foul.

But we lose more games we're better than win we're worse, that's for certain.

This season we've definitely got more points than we deserved in no games I can think of.

We've arguably got more than we deserved from:

Middlesbrough

Blackpool (although I personally felt we were good value for 3 points we got a dodgy pen to decide the game)

The Derby score line flattered us a bit but we deserved to win the game.

I would sooner play poorly and win than play well (for long periods) and lose, like we seem to be doing lately. That's for sure!
