Guest Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 They must have someone lined up. On the back of a 4:2 win over a form team. Merry christmas forest.
49er Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 They want a manager with proven prem experience Ian Dowie fits that bill Pearson had premiership experience with Newcastle, albeit not as manager
Corky Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 That's disgusting practice. They've treated a thoroughly decent man so badly. Hope it all falls apart and O'Driscoll goes somewhere he's appreciated.
Guest Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 It will be a high profile manager, they won't be scraping the barrel like we did (although it would be nice). You really do have a problem with Pearson don't you? Maybe you should arrange to see a psychologist or something.
Bayfox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Not that i care 1 jot about them. But what a stupid decision. I guess they plan to spend big and didn't trust him with the cash or to attract the names they want. Maybe they should look at how it went for us. Sven for fword???
Happy Fox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Sven would definitely be a good option for them, and when he does join them I hope he can do the only decent thing for us and let us win at the Shitty Ground to confirm our promotion.

He would sign Mills,Peltier, Bamba, Johnson, Pantsil, Danns, Beckford, Kamara, Bednar, Bruma, Ricardo - expensive, over paid and relegation fodder! Get him in.
Webbo Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Di Mateo ? That's what I'm thinking. Must have somebody else lined up surely?
49er Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 That's what I'm thinking. Must have somebody else lined up surely? Owen Coyle, Roy Keane, Mark Hughes...
anotherharboroughfox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Apparently Forest fans were chanting 'you're getting sacked in the morning' to Warnock
Corky Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Apparently Forest fans were chanting 'you're getting sacked in the morning' to Warnock Hope so
Yojoe36 Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Apparently Forest fans were chanting 'you're getting sacked in the morning' to Warnock Christ, this would literally kill me if this is true
anotherharboroughfox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 According to my mate who was at the match
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Normally I'd take great joy in Forest self destructing, but this pathetic practice of sacking managers for little to no reason has got to stop.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 As much as I hate forest I would be furious if I supported them. What a complete load of bullshit from owners who clearly have no idea about football who appear to buy football clubs as some sort of plaything to 'see if they can have a go at owning a club'.
Yastafox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 After a slow start they've picked up quite well, you'd have thought they'd be in the play off mix at least! Who knows.... Will be interesting to see who they go for! Oh well at least it's not us on the managerial merry go round again (trying not to tempt fate).
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 I swear leicester sacked sven just two points off fourth place ...
Mack Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 I swear leicester sacked sven just two points off fourth place ... On the back of a 4-2 victory?
Yastafox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 I swear leicester sacked sven just two points off fourth place ... For all the Sven haters on here I think he was a TAD misfortunate! I seem to remember us going on a great run when he was here with Yakubu banging in the goals, but everyone above us just weren't dropping points! Any other year we'd have been comfortably in the play offs. I guess he did lose it towards the end tho... Oh well!
I am Rod Hull Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Tax dodging, leaching, moneyfonster, couldn`t give a fook, twatty foreign owners = the cancer of football....
Super_horns Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Its a surprise and given they are having a solid season in an inconsistent league harsh but after the match on Saturday there was a lot of stick for O'Driscoll from fans albeit probably the usual fickle types.
kingfox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 If it was any other club than Forest, Derby or Cov, then I would be shocked and angry. But as it's Forest it's flaming hilarious, unless they get Di Matteo then it won't be.
Grey Fox Posted 26 December 2012 Posted 26 December 2012 Shortly after the news of O'Driscoll's sacking was confirmed, Cox wrote on Twitter: "So we win 4-2 and the manager gets the sack. Gutted for Sean, pleasure to work under. Wonder who will walk through the door next." Sharp also took to Twitter to give his reaction, writing: "Gutted that ruins a decent day." Oh dear . All his signings will now have uncertainty in the back of their minds. That's why changing managers during a season doesn't work. How many times do owners have to see it happen before they don't think somehow it will be different this time!
