Leicesterlad96 Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Do they stand a chance of progressing? From what I saw last time I went down I'm surprised we got out the 3rd round!
ACF Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Clearly I can't, but I urge as many people as possible to get down and support our yoof!
ADK Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Not like any of them will ever play for us though. Would be better off watching Man U's academy.

davieG Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Academy Director Jon Rudkin hopes the Club’s Under-18s will be well supported at King Power Stadium on Wednesday night when they host Peterborough United in the FA Youth Cup (kick-off 7pm). A home clash with the Posh is the young Foxes’ reward for an impressive third round victory at Blackburn Rovers before Christmas, where goals from Harry Panayiotou, Jak McCourt and Joe Dodoo secured a 3-1 win. And Jon reckons the Club’s young starlets will be eagerly awaiting the chance to perform on another big stage at King Power Stadium. “The FA Youth Cup is such a great competition and the boys are all very much looking forward to the game,†Jon told lcfc.com. “We had a great result and a great performance up at Ewood Park and the game against Peterborough gives the players the chance to get on the pitch at King Power Stadium and hopefully produce another good result. “Our Academy players have been well supported in the competition in previous seasons and I hope as many people as possible are able to come and cheer them on.†Wednesday night’s opponents Peterborough should provide another difficult test for City’s Youth Team, having raised several eyebrows in the previous round with a resounding 4-0 win over highly-rated Aston Villa. And having been at London to witness that victory for the Posh, Jon and his staff are aware of the threats posed by the Cambridgeshire side. “We had the opportunity to see that game and Peterborough played very well,†Jon said. “They’re quite a big side that play with a lot of strength and speed and our players will need to be aware of that. They’re not a side to be underestimated. “Our players showed in the last round that they won’t be overawed by the stage they are playing on and the experience of those that have played Under-21 football this season will be important in that respect. “It should be an exciting tie and it’s one we’re all really looking forward to.†Wednesday night’s game at King Power Stadium kicks off at 7pm. The tie must be decided on the night, with extra-time and penalties a possibility should they be required. Tickets are available for the match in the Fosse Club seating area, priced £3 for Adults and £1 for Under-18s by calling 0844 815 5000 or from the City Fanstore. Entrance on the evening will be via the VIP Hospitality Entrance from 6pm with free parking available on the night (subject to availability). Fosse Club seating availability is limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Out Foxed Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 you get a few surprises in the cup. remember our unbeaten team getting spanked 7-1 (i think) by Liverpool with Thomas Ince in the side. Weirdly enough, he wasn't very good that game and didn't look as good as some of the other players.
The Doctor Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 damn i thought this was a new emoticon...was quite looking forward to using it How would you do a posh emoticon exactly?

Manwell Pablo Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 The Thracian dream team. I expect nothing less than a 15-0 victory. Full of pace, flair, and attacking football. For those interested these lads are now bringing smiles to fans of Thurock, Luton, Aylesbury, and in Porters case, Wigston Car Breakers in Leicesters own Alliance Sunday League Division One.

Wigston Car Breakers? He hasn't half had a fall from grace.
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Wigston Car Breakers? He hasn't half had a fall from grace. This is just what I've heard could be crap. Also herd he only turns up when he's sober enough to play, which isn't very often, which could also be crap. If it was true he seems to have sorted his life recently as his Wikipedia page suggests he signed for Histon last month.

What happened to King?
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 What happened to King? Gradel is actually doing the best out of all of them, only one who is actually playing for a better side than us.

Weirdly enough, he wasn't very good that game and didn't look as good as some of the other players. We got tonked 5-1. Up there as one of the coldest nights of football I have ever attended. Considered going home at half time I was just that frozen. I think it was lauri da Valle or someone scored a hat trick and ripped us to pieces ? He looked superb that night, he's (Lauri Dalla Valle) at Fulham now, ended up being a make-weight when Konchesky when to Liverpool.
