Soar Fox Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 Hahahahahaa that bloke in Mambo's is amazing, but we upset him. He was chuntering on being abusive to people and I walked past in a POLSKA cap that i'd bought in Krakow. I like to pretend to be Polish on holiday as the abuse you get is immense. He said on the mic " bloody hell, POLSKA have Tesco's let you have the weekend off? " which was funny and he then asked me my name and where I was from so I said I was from Derby and that I was Mick Philpott's nephew, that went down about as well as a mug of sick. It takes a lot to upset that bloke. Hahahahaaa I bought 3 litres of schnapps from the bar for 100 euros and he was genuinely a little perturbed by us. I also went on the bronco in the nude. I'm nearly 30, I should be put down. lol Was it the same bloke on the mic as I saw or the ponytail bloke who MattP was on about.
Ric Flair Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 lol Was it the same bloke on the mic as I saw or the ponytail bloke who MattP was on about. The one you saw mate, always wears a cap and has a really husky voice because he's permanently shouting and caining it.
Soar Fox Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 The one you saw mate, always wears a cap and has a really husky voice because he's permanently shouting and caining it. That's the gobshite. Just abused anyone who walked in and making girl go on the bronco topless.

Guest Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 Spend most of your time in Santa Monica if you are in LA, beautiful place and you'll bump into a Curb cast member at some point. San Francisco is one of my favourite cities in the World, so many beautiful sites and the bar scene is so laid back. Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, so many things to see. Cheers Matt. Will definitely check those out
Ozwin Posted 26 June 2013 Author Posted 26 June 2013 Someone help a thicko in need please. Do I have to do anything with my luggage at the two stops or will it be forwarded to the final destination? I'm unsure whether I'll need to check them in at each airport or if they just sort of follow me all the way there? Never had a flight with stops like this before.
Guest MattP Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 They usually go straight through but it's always best to ask on the desk or to give them a ring. If I go Virgin, Quantas or Emirates it always goes straight through but the smaller airlines I've often had to pick up a suitcase and just roll it into a change hub in the US.

Never had a flight with stops like this before. usually if its with same airline and a big one such as KLM all the way they normally add a special ticket on the luggage which has all the destinations of the luggage so you don't need to pick it up half way, but I would ring them up to make sure
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Off to the far north of Scotland again A bonnie wee place called Strathpeffer, in early October. Fresh air!

May i ask why Saskatoon as it doesn't seem a real tourist destination? The only reason i would head there is to see a friend that lives their, even then she said she would prefer to meet me somewhere in America as opposed to making me go to Saskatoon
Monk Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Off to Iceland today for 11 days, driving around the whole country. Should be good!

Who's the lad at the end with the white England number 19 shirt on, he looks like a right beast when drinking them pints and heading that football machine.

Never seen a lad who can nail ale like him though, it's obscene.
The Guvnor Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 2 weeks in Turkey and it is Fookin hot. First time and lovin it, great hotel friendly staff very eager to please, will def come here again. Wherever you are, have a great time.
MooseBreath Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 What's Oludeniz like as a 'base' to visit a few other beaches/towns, and what's the independent budget accommodation like there? Was looking at using Fethiye (sp) as a base but there doesn't appear to be a beach there. Basically looking for a beach resort holiday but with a bit of an independent twist. Ie not full-on package holiday but not full on backpacking either, a bit of a mix. Oludeniz looks fine but would like to spend a couple of days on other beaches and/or in other towns.
Monk Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 So what are you doing for the other 10 days! . It's actually a fair old drive around the whole island. About 24 hrs worth. So we are doing 3 nights in each place. Just made it to Reykjavik. It's a pretty funky place.
Guest Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Now maybe it's me being skint a lot but is it normal for anybody else's mates when they decide to book a snowboarding holiday to decide where to go and give you about a week maximum to pay up? The process of going from 'Let's go snowboarding' to 'we need your money now' is unbelievably short! Admittedly I've only been boarding for about 18months but each time we go away it happens
Soar Fox Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Want to go away again somewhere before the end of the summer but none of my friends have got enough holiday left. Normally I'd have a couple of weeks away with the Mrs somewhere but this is the first time in 4 years I've been single during the summer.
