The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 I've never flew with BA what's it like? Biggest airlines I've flown with are Virgin, Emirates and Thai Airways. Preferred Virgin out of the 3. I flew to Madrid with BA. can't remember too much about it. The best I've been with is KLM. Frre food beer and wine. Can't go wrong. Glad I've not booked anything holiday wise this summer with the heat as it is.

Ross-Kemp Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Was planning on Thailand or Vegas or both in September and Australlia for the ashes over Christmas and new year. Those plans have been shelved due to the imminent arrival of Ross-Kemp junior.
Merging Cultures Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Yeah it will be. Wasn't too sure how much they faff about before letting you off the plane and that. So it should be a piece of piss then? Yeah, plenty of time. I am in Amsterdam at the moment, the airport is very easy.
Wymsey Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 In Malaga now. Puerto Banus is amazing. Aye, definitely. Been on a few boat tours around the place (as we've got property in Mijas, which isn't too far from P.B.); stunning place. Great variety of bars and the steaks I've tried in quite a few of the restaurants here were excellent.

Soar Fox Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 In Amsterdam right now... Any suggestions as to how I should spend my Friday night??!?!! Couple of beers, few burns on a spliff and then have a night of passion with a hooker.
absolutelegend Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Off to Italy today; Capri, Naples, Rome, Florence then Venice. Expecting to eat at least 20 pizzas in the next 2 weeks.
Ric Flair Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Just got back from a week in Scotland, the first time i've ever been. Absolutely loved it. Edinburgh is up there with one of the best cities i've ever been to. I then went on to North Berwick for the golf and that was possibly even better. Such a beautiful town and i'll definitely be going back. Met Gerard Butler in one of the boozers after he'd been to the golf as well and he was mobbed by about 150 women, it was piss funny to see. Wish I had booked to stay up there for longer, really didn't want to come home. Great weather, get boozers. I even went in the north sea for a laugh, was fooking freezing.
ADK Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Scotland would be probably the best country in the world if they didn't have shit weather and so many biting insects.
RonnieTodger Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 When going to Spain/Spanish islands, does anyone take cash for the week - or is it best to use a card? If you use cards - what are the charges like? I understand it's obviously risky taking a lot of cash, but I've heard to get charged a fairly big percentage when withdrawing money.

I very rarely take any currency with me to any country, always use their ATM's. I think it works out better financially and you don't run the risk of carrying big wedge with you. Spain i'd always do this for sure, there's usually about a £2.50 charge per withdrawal so I withdraw about £400 euros and then the same again once that's ran out etc. So the charges are minimal.
lavrentis Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Off to southern Portugal Jan time. Just a change of scenery will be nice I think
Uncle Albert Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Anyone got any opinions on Protaras, nightlife, activities in the day and what not? Going a week on Sunday for a friends wedding, can't bloody wait. And the big question, how close to Ayia Napa is it from Protaras? I'm hearing 20 minutes up to and hour away!
Soar Fox Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Ayia napa is 20-25 minutes on a bus, personally I go in a taxi from protoras. Nightlife in protoras is ok not a lads holiday sort of place as there's a lot of families. But still the bars stay open late and there's a couple of late night clubs. Activities in the day you've got the usual water sports jet skiing, banana boat etc. Also I'd recommend the booze cruise. Was meant to go Cyprus yesterday but it got cancelled as I split up with my girlfriend. Lost £400 deposit. Not happy
