L1wood Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 With all the other top teams losing over past 2 or 3 days its written on the wall for us to blow our chance tonight & lose.
Area88 Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 With all the other top teams losing over past 2 or 3 days its written on the wall for us to blow our chance tonight & lose. Those kinds of thoughts are in everyone's mind but also remember we are 2ND, we are not in mid table. With being 2ND comes increase in morale, competition for places, everyone wants to be part of a winning side after all. Teams will also start to fear us if we stay second, like they with Cardiff.
MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Hopefully after this evening too... After this evening? After this weekend!!!
whoareyaaa Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 unbeaten in the last 6 games, conceded 2 goals scored 14, 16 points from 18 promotion form
MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Pressure on Hull now, ... and Middlesbrough to some extent.
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 After this evening? After this weekend!!! That's what I meant..
Guest Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Still second tonight unless Hull win by 21 goals today
ACF Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Still second tonight unless Hull win by 21 goals today What're the odds?
Guest shearfox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Still second tonight unless Hull win by 21 goals today Can be done
whoareyaaa Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Can see Boro, Hull and Cardiff slipping up today.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 The only way we'll still be second on Saturday is if Watford and Palace draw.
Happy Fox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 The only way we'll still be second on Saturday is if Watford and Palace draw. Both having played 31 games we would have 2 games in hand.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 The only way we'll still be second on Saturday is if Watford and Palace draw. Yes, but we'll have 2 games in hand on them, the first being against Peterborough, so you'd hope we can take it straight back.
MooseBreath Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Not a great day with regards autos as the entire top-5 won. But there's a lovely gap opening up between us and 7th. Eleven points. Those late-season games against Watford and Palace could be massive.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Aslong as we keep winning, week by week one team will drop out of contention. It was Middlesbrough today, and if we win they don't win their next game then I think they'll be out of the race for automatics. Also a nice gap between us and 7th now, I know it's not what we want, but a guaranteed play off place would be nice and we should have that in a few weeks if we win our games. Keep the faith.
Guest Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 The only way we'll still be second on Saturday is if Watford and Palace draw. And that's a possibility.
Legend_in_blue Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 It's all looking tight at the top of the league but I think we just need to concentrate on our games and forget about the other sides. We have a points target to meet and it's all about getting those results to see us there. Imo we are playing the best attacking football in this league. No need to be worried.
foxfanazer Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 10 points clear of 7th place with a game in hand
Guest ttfn Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I think we need to remember that our game in hand is away at Cardiff
Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I think we need to remember that our game in hand is away at Cardiff Yes but that's still 7 points we need to catch up. We need to win 2 more games and grab a draw while they lose all 3. That plus winning at their place.
foxfanazer Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I think we need to remember that our game in hand is away at Cardiff 10 points clear of 7th with a game in hand (against Cardiff away)
foxfanazer Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Yes but that's still 7 points we need to catch up. We need to win 2 more games and grab a draw while they lose all 3. That plus winning at their place. i think you've misunderstood him mate. I think he doesn't think we'll win at Cardiff
