iamafox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Who would you take from Cardiff's side in all seriousness? Whittingham would be the obvious choice. Any more? Mark Hudson.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Bloody Blackpool. Cardiff looking average as anything as usual and will probably win this 1-0 EDIT: Get in
Happy Fox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Cardiff looking average as anything as usual and will probably win this 1-0 Isn't that the sign of a good team though, play crap but still win the game. EDIT Come on Smackpool get the winner
The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 yesss. this pitch needs to improve by the time we go there
Guest Bilo Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Every time I've seen they've looked very, very average. A bit of mystery how they're top, though I suspect their flashes of quality in Bellamy and Whittingham have a lot to do with it. Defensively resolute as well. They'd be difficult to back to survive in the Premiership without significant investment though. yesss. this pitch needs to improve by the time we go there Unless Karl Oyston gets bored of creaming off the club's accounts, it definitely won't.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Is it me or are Cardiff making a really conscious effort not to wear their blue 'away' kit? The last few games I've seen them they've worn black, which seems a bit of a conscious effort to my cynical mind.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Isn't that the sign of a good team though, play crap but still win the game. EDIT Come on Smackpool get the winner It's every week though, they really aint that good. Deflected but hell of a hit from Tommy Smith.
Happy Fox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 It's every week though, they really aint that good. Deflected but hell of a hit from Tommy Smith. I agree with what you are saying should of beaten them really but we weren't clinical enough if Wood was playing it would of been a different story.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 I agree with what you are saying should of beaten them really but we weren't clinical enough if Wood was playing it would of been a different story. My mate went to watch them at Derby as well and said thet were dire......dunno how they are managing to skank it every week.
iamafox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 A draw at Cardiff would be a decent result, but I feel that we really need to beat them next month if they win tonight.
acooling08 Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 I think 10 points is too much to overturn. If we are to be Champions, we must beat them at their place.
Guest ttfn Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 I think 10 points is too much to overturn. If we are to be Champions, we must beat them at their place. Let's just concentrate on getting promoted
The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 blackpool are shit, just the kind of team that'll beat us
Happy Fox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 blackpool are shit, just the kind of team that'll beat us Not this year pal, our record against teams in the bottom half is the best atm.
Kitchandro Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Blackpool look very poor these days. Having said that their shite pitch doesn't help and definitely suited Cardiff. Harris and Cathcart are abolutely terrible based on that performance. You can't play so stupidly against them. They needed to get the ball out wide like they did for their goal. They tried to play narrow and then chipped long balls through the middle, which Cardiff will deal with every time. Cardiff aren't great but they do the important things. They punish other teams for their errors and they are very solid at the back.
surrifox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 wonder what the bust up between thompson and mackay was about ? Thompson probably explaining that cardiff are a buch of spawny gits whose luck is bound to run out
surrifox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 yesss. this pitch needs to improve by the time we go there absolutely- our passing game will crash and burn on that swamp. They will never invest in their club though it's owned by a family of low lifes who are bleeding the club dry
theessexfox Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Ridiculous that players at this level don't have two feet. Hudsons coming off injured. Good news. Hopefully a long term thing That's disgraceful imo.
Babylon Posted 19 January 2013 Posted 19 January 2013 Us, Watford, Cardiff and Burnley are the form teams. Really can't see Cardiff dropping in form enough for us to catch them, but second is their to be taken.
