Speaks volumes about our coaching team that when he comes here the change is dramatic and he's established himself as one of the best defenders in the league.

StanSP Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Best since Matt Elliot? That's what I've thought. We've had some good defenders since then, but nothing on Matt Elliott scale. Got same commanding, strong, physical and solid presence that all great CBs should have. Wes Morgan has the potential to be a future legend of the club. He is not a legend right now. That's not to burst the bubble, it's just inconceivable and unrealistic to think of a player as legend in such a short space of time.
