I had always known Tiger was done years ago, as soon as he started getting regular injuries. He was never coming back from that other than the occasional appearance. It's sad when you think about it. Instead of just retiring with his head held high he's desparately tried to keep playing and staying relevant.

He obviously has other personal issues and should have just kept quiet and gotten involved with something else in the game like academies and teaching, as well as helping his son's career.

Him battling back to win the 2019 Masters is the single biggest sporting moment I've ever seen bar Leicester. In fact I celebrated it in similar fashion and in as much disbelief, which is crazy given he's the greatest golf ever lived.

Even though we could get relegated by the end of the month, April is always my favourite month of the year, The Masters followed by the World Snooker Championship, perfection

But after last year’s euphoric rollercoaster, I’m getting bad vibes for this year. I can see someone like Tommy getting pipped by one shot by someone like Patrick Reed :frantics::cry:

Yeah, it's inevitable this years Masters will probably be a stinker.

Either a wire to wire procession (probably Scottie again) or a LIV player wins (Rahm or Bryson)

Obvs hops I'm wrong. Would love a Tommy, Fitz or Rose win but Rory again to tie Faldo, Mickelson and Trevino on 6 majors would be the dream

Been a complete mixture over the years, but it’s going to be very difficult to replicate last years rollercoaster.

A few of the European’s have been in good form lately to make you feel optimistic, but my head is saying an American winner.

Morikawa(If healthy) and Cam Young would be my picks.

Really want Rose to win it this year

In a world where you can be anything, be like Justin Rose

Such a class act

Like the chances of Cam Young, Ludvig, Fitz and Schauffele usually goes well round Augusta as well.

As much as I'm not a fan of the guy, fancy P Reed to go well too.

As always, a Corey Connors top 10 is the safest bet in sport.

Scottie's approach play is way down this year which is usually the biggest factor at Augusta.

Hopefully we get a firm, fast Augusta.

Justin Rose a complete and utter class act

I've followed him at The Open and he has so much time for the fans.

I'd love him to win it there would be NO better winner

Every time I turn on sky golf I see Scottie practicing. Must be a sign!

Around 7/1 fav best out there I think

The rest of his game is still pretty elite, and how you manage your way round the course at Augusta is a massive factor, which he also is very good at.

But his superpower has always been his iron play, particularly distance control. With his approach play being around tour average this year I'm just not sure I fancy him the way it's been going.

Having said that, would not be surprised in the slightest if he wins and wins comfortably. At 7/1 I'd be seriously considering a punt.

Finally bit the bullet and became a member at Whetstone. One of the justifications of giving up my season ticket was to join somewhere and it isn't too badly priced for a year at £720. Now just to actually become half decent so I can take part in some competitions.

That's a good price to be fair can't argue at that. All the best, it's a great sport and remember to tell the wife every round takes a minimum of 8 hours.

Whatever you do, always remember to divide the price of any golf purchase by 2 when telling your wife how much it cost.

And get stuck in at the comps as soon as you get your official handicap, don’t worry about waiting until you’re ‘half decent’.

Spent 18 years at Whetstone,  a great place to start and learn the game,  and some great people too.

I like it there, food in the clubhouse is lovely! Did find the fairways a bit close, plenty of shouts of Fore!

Took up golf in October, mostly playing 9 holes at Enderby where I am scoring between 51 and 58 every time. Just can't break 50.

Got 111 at Humberstone and 108 at Whetstone.

Will get there one day. I'm pretty decent chipping and putting but my driving is horrendous. Constant slice.

Bin the driver off. Hit 3 Wood. I did the same and I’m far straighter- 220-260 yards depending on the hole
