I don't mind Cam Young. Seems alright but I can't say I know him really well.

Poor bloke had to listen to the winning cheers while staying warm on the range then put his clubs away.

Effectively both players went for it on the 18th

the better drive won it

A winning fox at last in ‘26

Some chatter over here that players in the clubhouse who don't care for Bryson were the ones who pointed out his penalty to the R&A. I'm no Bryson fan, but for someone who is so methodical with his analysis and approach to the game, he can't plead ignorance when he got caught.

What did you make of your Open experience today @Officer Doofy?

Late reply due to being absolutely knackered lol

Amazing day, truly blessed with the weather although the copious amounts of sawdust in my pint wasn't great.

Saw loads of players come through sitting on the corner of the 6th dogleg and then the 13th green were viewing highlights.

Maga busy as the day went on and decided to just watch the run-in on the big screen with a beer rather than fight it out on the 18th.

Got the bug

Brilliant, glad you had a good time. You can't beat a day at the Open and you were there for one of the all time great final days

So after a record breaking US college career, Jackson Koivun wins his first US PGA tour title.

It's going to be fascinating to watch this guy's career develop over the next few years.

79 today, with 36 putts. So infuriating. I hate this game!

Can join you in that tonight.

37, +2, 3 putted 3 times in 9 holes including two par 5s where I'd hit the green in two.

Literally couldn't have been any worse than what I scored. I can't stand my game at the minute, just gift shots away so easily.

"also features a pro shop".  Does it f**k, they turned that into a bloody gym.

Also no way have they got 599 members, at the last count it was a little over 300 and there's no reason to believe that has nearly doubled.  More likely to have gone the other way.

Shame the way that has gone , it should and could be an outstanding facility and golf seems incredibly popular atm.

The owners there tried selling up years ago and I imagine they haven't cared enough about the golf side since.

Apparently they own another club down between Northampton and Milton Keynes which they also ran into administration

This whole GoodGood/Callaway advert thing is being blown way out of proportion IMHO

Initial apologies all around were sufficient I reckon but now you've got Callaway binning off GoodGood as partners and feeling they need to donate $1m to womens domestic abuse charities.

And now the PGA Tour have put pressure on GoodGood to make them drop thier sponsorship of the PGA fall event in Texas.

It was a stupid and naive advert in the first place but you'd think Garrett and co. were guilty of murder FFS.

Yeah the massive overcompensating reactions are worse than the advert. Which was fairly tame in the first place. They pulled it and apologised for the insensitivity. That should have been it.

Heck of a leaderboard at East Lake.

Edit: It's the Tour Championship, so that's probably why

Hoping for a decent final round today. Think somebody will go ridiculously low, wouldn’t be surprised to see a 60 or 61.
