There's the possibility of the jokes being too lame (especially given the fact it's probably more or less an American production and the danger of them fondling with the humour levels), Coogan not being able to work the Partridge out properly anymore, yadda yadda yadda. My only fear is that it could turn out into something Sacha Baron Cohen-like. Still, I have hope. Congrats on the new job
Edmund Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 I'm Batman! I think it's about time I got the Partridge out again. I stopped watching it for a few years as I rinsed it that hard. Bad news about the film to be honest. Been so long since he did Partridge plus coupled with the fact it will be Americanised means it will probably be poor. Hopefully not though. @ Rico, nice one for the heads up.

Still, I have hope. no danger of that, there's a bit of partridge in everything he's done since... as long as the premise is well thoughtout it should be great, they did enough between the two series of i'm alan partridge to keep it fresh and provide more jokes... i have a sneaky feeling they might have him presenting a show on american tv, which could be absolutely hilarious...

All I can remember at the minute is that they do some Crimbo cooking and Partridge pulls some funny faces at that tranny and starts getting peed off.
