It was that packed it was scary for the younger ones, If you needed the toilet you had no chance and people were pissing up walls. My brother in law came with us and he attempted to join the queue but then decided he would wait, he tried to get back to us to be told by the stewards it was full and had to go and stand at the other end of the terrace. It was a total farce

I was sitting in the corporate seating today, and our fans on the terrace looked great when we scored.

Would also like to give great credit to the peterborough stewards where i sat, let me celebrate with no problem whatsoever. Obviously got some stick when they scored the two goals, but if you give it you gotta take it.

When I struggled to get back in during the first half having had to go to the toilet I asked the stewards if there was a particular side of the terrace that was a bit more roomy than the middle and they told me it was the same throughout. I absolutely loved it though, you guys moan as much as you want but barring the result that was one of the best away days I've ever been on.

I loved it too, great away day. Pre match in the boat was ace, and I'd stand at every match like that if I could. I didnt feel unsafe, but im a big guy, so i can appreciate others might have. Shame about the result but otherwise a good day.

The stand was clearly full end to end once they had got everyone in and personally I have been in stands that were together packed than yesterday.

It clearly shows the only danger with standing is overcrowding which can cause surging and with that comes the safety issues.

Safe Standing areas prevent any surging as each row has a complete barrier which can be managed by a single steward at each end of a row to ensure the appropriate amount of people enter. To prove this we were stood directly behind one of the end entrance Walls and were only four deep from the back of the stand to the wall, there were no issues and we stood comfortably all game as there was no chance of mass surging.

I think the stewards were poorly positioned initially yesterday as they knew the stand would be at capacity so the blame has to be with their safety management as they direct deployment of stewards. I'm not sure they oversold as they allocated us the maximum number for the terrace clearly they may need to review this allocation for modern da safety requirements.

One of the issues was stewards not letting people use certain entrances, particularly towards the sides of the stand, which obviously meant that everyone was trying to get into the middle.

It was quite clearly oversold, and it was dangerous. I dread to think what would have happened if Waghorn would have hit the target from 6 yards for the equaliser.

But not oversold according to their current assessment for the stands capacity, so they really need to review that, I would say that officially they did not oversell yesterday bu anyone could see there were too many in ther for today's safety standards.

Th FA should let them install safe standing as they wish to with th appropriate capacity thats gives, problem solved immediately

Great atmosphere yesterday, better than I can remember for a long time anyhow.

Don't know about anyone else but there seems to be an increasing culture of people going too over the top when celebrating, especially the 18 year old kids etc.

I love to go mental but not to the point of throwing myself on the floor and piling on my mates, when marshy scored I got about 6 elbows to the head from some cvnt behind me who thought he was on the tv programme splash and tried to pretty much dive over 3 rows.

You don't see many blokes doing that, just the kids but people need to grow up a bit

You are right but they are fit strong young lads who have no perception that someone could get hurt. I don't think older people and kids are in their though processes during a goal celebration. As you say it their culture and perhaps. Reasonable word might help. I often stand with young lads and they do it but they know to keep away from my wife as I have advised them.

Anyone who thinks the away end was unsafe wanted to try being on the 1st train home.

Charters wasn't exactly comfortable pre-match either, you literally couldn't move in some parts of the bar at 2:00.

I'm posting this in both threads on over crowding.

Me and a friend were turned away from the turnstile because we had 'reissued tickets.' Our tickets would not scan and we were told by the attendant at the turnstile that someone had used them and passed them back to us. This isn't true as I had bought them from the LCFC ticket office. After debating the issue with the stewards we were told that this has happened a lot today. We were then told to go to the ticket office. Eventually the ticket office 'reset' the tickets. We then went back to the steward who let us in through the front and onto what is considerded the 'playing area' as the game kicked off! We walked a few yards along the stand before climbing in. This leads to the following questions - were there a number of duplicate tickets accidently issued thus increasing the amount sold? Thus were there actually more people then the stand is limited to?

Nothing to do with seating. If they hadn't oversold tickets there wouldn't be overcrowding...

It higihhts some of the issues of standing and if the clubs even with the systems they use now to sell tickets can be trusted not to abuse capaticy limits.

And who is the muppet string of flares ?

This wants bringing out to the right authorities somewhere..... if someone had got injured down to their negligence .....

Was anyone on the second train back? Ended up getting stopped at Stamford for 45 mins, no one really knew what was happening but there were quite a few coppers, with dogs and filming the train.

Guessing some fans got nicked but don't understand the massive delay and the need for Alsatians really
