bald reynard Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Did we 'Rock Blackpool' - can any that have now escaped the Pleasure Beach that is Bloomfield Road, post some City player ratings please ?
Guest kristianity77 Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Might take a while to get any of these. I imagine more than a few have gone straight out on the pop!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Kasper 7 RDL 7 Morgan 7 Keane 7 Konch 7 Marshall 5 King 6 DD 6 Nugent 5 Wood 4 A shocker and not just for the penalty Kane 6 Dyer 7 Vardy 5 Knockaert 6
Dplcfc Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Kasper 7 RDL 7 Morgan 7-animal Keane 7 Konch 7 Marshall 6.5-don't understand why a lot of yous call him and booin him after a corner is disgusting, yeah they wasn't the best but he only had 2 yards to run up. King 5-don't get this lad. DD 6 Nugent 5 Wood 3-absolutely shocking Kane 6 Dyer 4-deffo not a footballer, should have chose athletics. Vardy 5 Knockaert 6-people love him to much for me.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Dyer 4?! Came on and set a glorious chance for Wood which he should have buried and then gave Vardy half a chance too. Actually got into the game quickly rather than coming off the bench and being slow starting. Should start next game
chili_con_carne Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Everyone still singing the Ben Marshall song? .
Leicesterpool Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Kasper 7- Made good saves in the first period De Late 6- Erm nothing much to say really Keane 5- Felt he was lucky a times Morgan 9- Best player on the field for me! Konchesky 5- Didn't do enough for me Drinkwater 3- Awful once again Marshall 4/5- Dreadful first half, his corners and free kicks were terrible slighty better second half but nothing special King 6- Played okay Nugent 8- Another hard worker on the pitch today Wood 3- Dreadful! Dyer 6- Had a little bit of impact but nothing speical Knocky 5- Had a couple of efforts but came on too late! Vardy 4/5- Give the lad credit had a go. Notice how two of Nigel's signings from January 2012 have recently go on off!
Fox92 Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Kasper 8 De Laet 8 Morgan 8 - Solid Keane 7 Konchesky 7 Marshall 6 King 8 - Man of the match. Tidied everything up, played it simple. Best I've seen him play for a while Drinkwater 6 Nugent 6 Wood 5 - Just a bad day. Touch was poor and obviously missed a penalty. Kane 6
Bert Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Must've been at a different game to some people. Kasper 7 RDL 7 Konch 6 Keane 7 Morgan 8 Marshall 7 King 8 Drinkwater 6 Wood 5 Nugent 7 Kane 6 Subs 5.

Father Ted Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Schmeichel 7 - a couple of smart saves and dealt with crosses convincingly De Laet 7 - Solid in both defence and attack Morgan 7 - Beast Keane 6 - Shaky once again but Phillips rarely threatened Konchesky 7 - I've been critical of him recently but did alright today. Suited his long ball game and the fact we played 4-3-3 King 8 - Excellent MOTM Got stuck in, broke play up and kept things ticking. Marshall 7 - Looks a lot more comfortable in a central role and looks like a CM. Drinkwater 6.5 - Didnt put a foot wrong. Nugent 6.5 - Won his fair share of headers and good link up with RDL. Wood 5.5 - Lost everything in the air and screwed up two golden chances. Mare Kane 6.5 - Looked decent, clever link up play, won the peno and one excellent hit first half. Unlucky not to win, everyone played well and put a good shift in, another day we would be looking at a convincing victory. Away support excellent.
Leicesterpool Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 We played with 10 men??! Woops forgot about Harry Kane (not many people know that) I would say a say 6 for his performance.
Leicester Lass Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Would love to know what game some people were watching, deary me. Schmeichel 7 Some fine saves and decent punching too. De Laet 7 Got himself forward well a couple of times. Steady at the back too. Morgan 8 Absolutely solid as ever. Not even any need to have a POTS vote, he's had it in the bag for a long time. Keane 6 Not looked convincing in the last few games but still contributed to a good clean sheet. Konchesky 7 Best game in a while for me. Caught out of position a few times though. King 8 MOTM. First half he was outstanding, faded a bit second. Broke up so much of their play and worked tirelessly. Drinkwater 7 Tidy performance really. Do wish he'd be a bit more positive with his passing sometimes though. Marshall 7 He was everywhere. Some great defensive work to go with a decent performance going forward. Unfortunately looks like he's everyone's favourite scapegoat at the minute which is absolutely embarrassing. Yes his corners weren't great, but what about the free kick that produced a golden chance for Morgan/De Laet (?) who missed the target from about 4 yards? Nugent 7 Did very well in the air. Was more effective in this game than the last 3 or 4 despite being slightly out wide. Wood 4 Seriously poor. Terrible penalty. Even worse miss from Dyer's cross/shot. Not his day. Kane 7 Tidy debut I thought. Struggled to get into the game at first but looked after the ball well, one outrageous effort which forced a fine save and won the penalty too. Dyer 6 Got himself involved in patches. Did ok. Knoackaert 5 Not really the kind of game for him. Don't think he should have come on personally. Vardy 5 Fairly steady cameo.

Leicester Lass is pretty spot on there. We played fine but couldn't score. Strange how in our season we have oscillated from goal frenzy to famine in two or three peaks and troughs. It's as if we have used up our allocation of fortune in the thrashing of Ipswich, Huddersfield and Bristol.
Strokes Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Schmeichal 8 a very good game, distributed the ball well. De laet 7 good in the first half average second half Konchesky 7 made some cruical takles but also missed some too. Keane 6 decent performance Morgan 8 solid Marshall 5 delivery was woeful but the pitch (if you can call it that) must take some blame. Drinkwater 5 seemed to struggle King 8 was marginally our best player imo Kane 7 had a poor first half hour but grew in confidence after Nugent 6 worked his socks off but never really got far Wood 6 off the ball work was excellent against a powerful defence, missed alot of chances My first game of the year and i thoght we played well, the pitch made the game of football unplayable and i think blackpool should should face sanctions for it. Best ref ive seen in a while too.

Her match reviews are better than the ones in the papers and I find myself agreeing virtually always.
