Dan Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 Sven is the biggest fraud to ever manage this club. The bloke's bang average, relies on his name to make him semi-acceptable, at a very high cost. He's been a joke ever since he was at England.
Dan Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 You suppose though that the cause and effect of these things is very short lived - Nigel Pearson's team that reached the play offs was well motivated and had momentum but once he was out of the equation their shortcomings were there for all to see - no keeper, one striker, no midfield and Sousa had them in deep trouble. This suggests that Niges only real skill is motivation and togetherness, which works so far but fails when the tactics are worked out. I 'bang on' about Sven (first post about him in almost a year) because we have not markedly improved since then - we are still capable of going on poor runs and although the squad is a cheaper one now it actually looks like it. My point is not actually about Sven himself, merely that two years ago we expected managers of that background to come to our club, now we have to be happy with NP because he is the best we can get and he doesn't seem up for a job this big to me - I don't care what the owners do as long as they get some football knowledge onto the board and appoint the inevitable next manager wisely. PS We never went on a run as poor as this under Sven - look it up. Do we really expect managers of his calibre though? Come off it, we're in the Championship. No Championship club thinks they'll realistically attract managers who had the reputation Sven did when he took over us, a reputation which I believe has taken a massive hit, especially in England since he was here.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 March 2013 Author Posted 11 March 2013 I can't believe Pearson in charge still. Untill he's been sacked I'm not wasting anymore time or money. I was gonna go tomorrow but im not wasting my money anymore.

anotherharboroughfox Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 I can't believe Pearson in charge still. Untill he's been sacked I'm not wasting anymore time or money. I was gonna go tomorrow but im not wasting my money anymore. Please don't go!
Guest Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 Doesn't really matter what I think of Pearson - but think should we lose tonight he will be sacked If they lose tonight he'll defo get sacked. If they lose tomorrow I shouldn't think so. I can't believe Pearson in charge still. Untill he's been sacked I'm not wasting anymore time or money. I was gonna go tomorrow but im not wasting my money anymore. You ought to pop down the Forest. You're certainly not fit to support the Foxes.
Leicester_Numan Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 Freelance journalist â€@indykaila Talk of Nigel Pearson getting the sack if #LCFC lose at #Cardiff on Tuesday via club source. I can't confirm the reports at this stage. --- Wasn't this the guy who said if we go up Pearson gets £20m, and we're going after darren bent?! Haha. I was reading his tweets early in the season and then he said something so ridiculous that I unfollowed him. Can't even remember what it was now. Just spent the last hour going over some of his tweets and to be fair, a lot of them are pretty accurate, there's still a lot of guff in there as there is with all ITK accounts. But on the whole, pretty accurate. This tweet though, only cites a "club source" and it's uncomfirmed. Could well be the person behind the till in the club shop for all we know. I should treat it as BS till we know otherwise
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 March 2013 Author Posted 11 March 2013 I've supported City since 1992. I'm aloud a opinion. Play off are not good enough. Brian Little did a marvellous job finishing in the play off because he had no money and took over a team that nearly went down. So he had a very limited team but got the best out of them. I was happy to finish in the play offs back then. Its not good enough this season, its promotion or bust.
Callabinho Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 I can't believe Pearson in charge still. Untill he's been sacked I'm not wasting anymore time or money. I was gonna go tomorrow but im not wasting my money anymore. Such a shame that! After all you're the definition of support.
hackneyfox Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 He's not alone though is he, crowds may well plummet now.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 March 2013 Author Posted 11 March 2013 Crowds will drop dramatically until a change in form or management.

indierich06 Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 He's not alone though is he, crowds may well plummet now. Crowds will drop dramatically until a change in form or management. They didn't drop a few years back when we were fighting off relegation from the Championship. They didn't even drop drastically when we were in League One. I hardly think people are going to stop going while we're still in with a chance of promotion. Some people support the team through thick AND thin. You find out who's really behind the team when the going gets tough and if you're not willing to get behind the team 100% when we're going through a shite spell, then you won't be missed - shut the door behind you and don't let it hit you on the arse on your way out.
Corky Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 Crowds will drop dramatically until a change in form or management. So why were our attendances higher when we went down in 2008? Strange bunch of fans we've got.
smudger63 Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 If they lose tonight he'll defo get sacked. If they lose tomorrow I shouldn't think so. You ought to pop down the Forest. You're certainly not fit to support the Foxes. That kind of reply is completely out of order and really pisses me off.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 March 2013 Author Posted 11 March 2013 To be fair smudger, he doesn't strike me as a real die hard. Who's ever called City, the foxes ? Off to watch the FOXES today. So why were our attendances higher when we went down in 2008? Strange bunch of fans we've got. Because we had shit loads of season tickets riding high on milans 3 year plan ? Or that we were giving tickets away ? or that there was offers upon offers ? Or that they were counting people who didnt turn up ? Or that away teams were bringing good followings ?
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 If they lose tonight he'll defo get sacked. If they lose tomorrow I shouldn't think so. You ought to pop down the Forest. You're certainly not fit to support the Foxes. Sadly he is, too many of our supporters think like this, not sure why, you'd expect after 10 years of trying and failing to quick fix our problems they would of cottoned on that the club needs a bit of stability in order to progress. Not to mention, we're 5th.
indierich06 Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 Because we had shit loads of season tickets riding high on milans 3 year plan ? Our season ticket holder level was similar to what it is now, I don't know the exact figure but I wouldn't be surprised if it was around the same now - you have to factor in the recent recession of course. But why would the 3 year plan have anything to do with people renewing or signing up for season tickets? This was the second year of the ill-fated 'plan' and during the first year we'd been relegated. Hardly 'riding high' were we? Or that we were giving tickets away ? or that there was offers upon offers ? Same as this season then. They give away tickets for every game (schools, charities etc) while there's been several pie and pint offers this season, along with reduced tickets for those attending with season ticket holders. Or that they were counting people who didnt turn up ? Or that away teams were bringing good followings ? The only time they count people who don't turn up is with season ticket holders, which has nothing to do with people like you who buy tickets per game as your post suggests. And we've had some massive away followings this season - Cardiff and Sheff Weds are always going to bring more than the likes of Yeovil and Carlisle. Your argument just doesn't stack up - attendances didn't drop when we were in the doldrums, why on earth would they drop when we're in a poor run of form but still pushing for promotion at the top end of the table?
hackneyfox Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 They didn't drop a few years back when we were fighting off relegation from the Championship. You can claim what you want but I know a number of people who have already given up on the season. All of these people have supported this club for 30 plus years and the club will miss them, don't be a berk and sound like Pearson.
indierich06 Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 You can claim what you want but I know a number of people who have already given up on the season. All of these people have supported this club for 30 plus years and the club will miss them, don't be a berk and sound like Pearson. Honestly, if they're giving up on the season already then I'm glad they're not coming back. I don't care if the club needs them financially or not, if you can turn your back on your club after 30 years because of one month's worth of bad results, then I don't want you associated with my club because it's embarrassing. My opinion, I don't care what anyone else thinks. Good riddance.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 March 2013 Author Posted 11 March 2013 Milan 3 Year plan started the season Martin Allen took over. The worst season in the clubs proud history. I could have saved us aswell. Watford away, I said we needed a change in management but everone laughed at me and said we won't go down and unfortunately I was right.
Kitchandro Posted 11 March 2013 Posted 11 March 2013 You can claim what you want but I know a number of people who have already given up on the season. All of these people have supported this club for 30 plus years and the club will miss them, don't be a berk and sound like Pearson. So having been through all those experiences, why are they such slow learners? Why now, of all times, are they so quick to stop going because of the team? You have to think these people aren't the sharpest tools in the box.
