The mother of all playoff finals

I think I'm going to be sick

lol Reading some of your other posts and threads you seem a little odd, so that doesn't surprise me.

Let's be positive people, Leicester City v Nottingham Forest in the a playoff final would be the mother of all finals. Beating THAT team in a Wembley final would be the greatest thing. The way things are going such a thing is possible.

we wouldn't win it though would we lol

I'm actually getting really excited at the prospect of this happening now .

Please please God of the football world make it happen .

I can't see any better outcome for the season than this.

We mustn't let Forest fans know any of us care about this though .

If we spot any of them lurking around just put some yawning emoticons  and say "whatever".

I would only take this if we could guarantee a win, and then life would not owe me anything, however, if we lost I would tie two bricks round each ankle and jump off a bridge, seing those past living, slimy, spawned up, racist, air headed, Brian clough mourning ***** do us in a game that big, would finish me off

Need to beat Palace/Watford/Dull on the semis first.

But I can see that the winner of the last game at their place is gonna be the clincher for both teams, and as others have said, we dont have the bottle for games like that (on past experience this season anyway)

On our currant form the chances of us making the play offs are at least, very unlikely, were just not good enough and we simply don't deserve it

I'd hardly say we don't deserve it

I can't see it happening. We have a horrible fixture list and the players are totally lacking confidence/ideas. We struggle to see out the last few minutes of league matches, how would we get through a semi anyway? If that final did miraculously happen I can tell you who would win.

People still think we'll reach the play offs after showing such crap form coming into the end of the season?

Deluded.com

The ony good thing now is that we wont get dragged inot the relegation dogfight!

I have tried to remain optimistic all season but I now fear for us finishing in the play offs. The Brighton game is massive, providing we beat Millwall and Barnsley that is. Less than maximum points before Brighton and we can forget play offs. Sorry to be down beat but we no longer have any margin for error.

We'll be out the playoffs before you know it. I dont think we will have the mentality to get back in there either. NP has really bollocksed up these last few games.

Matches this season have suggested to me that we haven't got the balls for such games.

I'm with Matt, I've low expectations for the rest of the season.

Agree, like I said at start of the season we will finish 7th

Living in Nottingham this would either be the greatest day of my life or the complete worst. To save the possibility of the latter happening, I would rather it not occur in any way. I wouldn't be able to cope watching 90+ minutes against THAT team at Wembley! :o

People would turn a playoff final down now?? Given our current situation and form???

Reallly?

Not me.

Against Forest I wouldn't want a play-off final because I'd have a heart attack! I will annoy people and now say how I'd rather us stay down because we would be a laughing stock in the premier league...

I couldnt care less who it was against, we aint finishing 2nd and we could easily not make the playoffs at all.

Agreed.

Ideal play off situation would be:

Hull semis = Scoring a last minute winner at the KC and Nige running accross the pitch David Pleat style.

Forest final = Big Wes scoring the winner after some sort of injustice denies them a goal/penalty.

I disagree there, not sure we would, the owners would likely invest quite heavily and I seriously can't see them allowing NFP to blow their cash even if he did get us up.
