Yojoe36 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 With Wolves winning and teams at the bottom not playing today, we could potentially be 9 points clear of safety. With our run in.....I dont even want to think about it Holy shit, you're right. That's some scary stuff.
darko2k7 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 This performance is worse than bad I think he is gone !
dannythefox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 If Pearson is still here next season we'll be NO better!
Karljohn Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Moore, Keane, whitbread. .hmmm. .would anyone still let st ledger out on loan even at 80% match fit?
Formidable Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I am now starting to believe that the first 2/3rds of season we were always shit, it was just that the rest of the division was equally shit or worse and made our shit look slightly better than the oppositions shit.
steflcfc Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 First few weeks when Chris Wood came we kept our attacking fluent style of play, and he bagged a few goals Then all of a sudden we stated to play hoof ball to him all the time and just bypass the midfield. Why we changed the style of play when we were pulling apart teams is a mystery. Our poor performances come from when we switched our style of play and the players don't seem to have responded to this change in approach.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Getting dicked on by Chris O'Grady and Stephen Dawson. Absolute joke. Whatever happens with NP after the game the players should take a long look at themselves - complete fvcking disgrace. They should be smashing teams like Barnsley regardless of who's stood in the dugout.
Carl the Llama Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Thankfully I've been supporting City all my life so this utter capitulation has no effect on my mentality. I feel bad for all the people who aren't used to us cocking up.
acooling08 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Looks like my 2-1 Barnsley prediction won't come off, looking more like 3 or 4 nil.
Vardinhio Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 St Ledger wasn't fit and in all honesty I doubt would add much to us here. The real problem is the fact that we have absolutely nothing in midfield or upfront. We lose 1-0 all the bloody time and it is mostly because we have lost any sense of how to be creative or how to keep the ball. I have no idea who we have in CM this game.....literally havn't heard King, Drinky or James mentioned yet...
Ripperrooblue Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 So all you Pearson lovers on here I take it you still thin we should stick with him hey. I said even when we went second in the league that we needed to change the manager or else this season would go wrong as we were not playing well but just scraping wins. I've not missed hardly any games this season but glad I gave today a miss by te sounds of it. Time to go Mr Greedy, lets have somebody that the players respect, which clearly this bunch don't respect you as St Ledger is the latest to have fallen out with you hence why he's been sent o his way. The same as Liam Moore was when he was dropped after playing really well at the start of the season. Don't ever question Mr Pearson or you're on your way!
purpleronnie Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Brum thrash palace away and now are 3-0 down to wolves at home. This league is weird.
morris1234 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Seriously though you can't want to put up with this for much longer surely? Well no I'm not happy about it. I just don't think people think about what's going on, why and how things could be different. So the obvious reaction, particularly for this club in recent years, is to 'get rid' Just seems to be double standards throughout certain opinions on the team and the manager. I'm really unhappy with the team of late because we lack any energy or creative threat. So our defense, that's has Been amazing all season, is cracking big time. I blame Pearson for lack of recruits to help us over the line. Small squad and too many games. I DON'T blame him for 11 players being void of confidence and not working hard enough to create chances. MASSIVE misconception he sits around all week not thinking of ways to attack teams individually etc etc , and at the start of the thread most were happy with the starting line up. But then obviously it's got to be the formation that's wrong so lets try a 4-2-1-1-2 or some other football manager crap. Ill ask again, if there is something that would change our situation, something that a new manager would bring and something that Pearson ISN'T doing on purpose....then what is it?
ozleicester Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 so.. whats the explanation for the players being so pi55 poor.. they arent overpaid anymore... they arent big heads.. they are young and hungry... WHAT THE FVCK?
I am Rod Hull Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I`v just put my old Leicester top on for luck. You can thank me when we win
Wycombe Fox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Don't worry...we play better in the 2nd half. Oh well, I'm still looking forward to Brighton next week. Come on City :scarf: :scarf:
