How come the majority of them were performing so well just over two months ago, and had done well for most of the season, and now they don't even seem to be able to run, pass to each other, shoot, do the basics etc?

Pearson has to take responsibility, but that doesn't mean the players aren't to blame.

Whoever the manager is, there is no excuse for the kind of performances they are giving.

Well no I'm not happy about it.

I just don't think people think about what's going on, why and how things could be different. So the obvious reaction, particularly for this club in recent years, is to 'get rid'

Just seems to be double standards throughout certain opinions on the team and the manager.

I'm really unhappy with the team of late because we lack any energy or creative threat. So our defense, that's has Been amazing all season, is cracking big time.

I blame Pearson for lack of recruits to help us over the line. Small squad and too many games.

I DON'T blame him for 11 players being void of confidence and not working hard enough to create chances.

MASSIVE misconception he sits around all week not thinking of ways to attack teams individually etc etc , and at the start of the thread most were happy with the starting line up. But then obviously it's got to be the formation that's wrong so lets try a 4-2-1-1-2 or some other football manager crap.

Ill ask again, if there is something that would change our situation, something that a new manager would bring and something that Pearson ISN'T doing on purpose....then what is it?

It's called motivation and respect pal, he's got neither of these with these players. He is stubborn and argumentative. Doesn't inspire anybody to do well.

One of the reasons for this poor run is that Pearson has lost the changing room. This has been shown by St ledger leaving on loan Pearson had a bust up with St ledger and treated him unfairly. St ledger was respected and well liked within the dressing room which has seen alot of the players now uncomfortable playing under Pearson as players all ways feel they are stepping on egg shells as Pearson is now know for falling out with players e.g campbell, mills danns beckford and now st ledger.

Beleive it or not, i dont really care but this is what has happened.

Pearson will be releived of his duties either after the game or by midday tomorrow.

This was always going to be difficult ,Barnsley won 6 out of seven of their last home games and we have won fvck all lately.

The players are playing like they don't want to play for that arrogant tw:t, I don't want to listen to bull after the game, I want to hear him quit, come on top and the board now is the time, we are fed up of being the laughing stock of the championship, and paying good money in hard times to be served up this shite week in week out, get somebody in who can bring the best out of the team
