Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I don't know. He'd probably spend a lot of money we don't have, be very aggressive (particularly with foreign opponents) and improve us in the short term. He'd also go looking for talent/objects that aren't really there, and it'd be like taking a leap back a few years. Remember Hossein Kaebi and Kermorgant?
Cruss5 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 If we bring someone in for the last 6 games and they dont win any, how exactly is that any worse than what we are likely to be facing right now if we dont change anything? True. But he has done it before this season and whilst the points are still there it can be done again. Unless we have a replacement already it will probably take 2 weeks before a new manager is in then they have to get settled in with the team. I'm with everyone as i'm annoyed as much as the next fan, but unfortunately i don't think a new manager would be a fix for this season at this stage. But that is just my opinion.
LCFC FOX Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Only one player has been on twitter since earlier. I assume they have been told not to say what is going until after the meeting tomorrow, But the players don't want Pearson in charge
kingfox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I marked tomorrow down on my Leicester Tigers calendar, as the day Pearson gets sacked.

Cruss5 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I think we've reached a point today where the fans have turned on the manager and the team, we've gone stale and backwards and we need something fresh in the club. We've got nothing more to lose now, we're out of the play-offs so if it's 7th or 17th it doesn't really matter, something has to happen though to save this season which is heading for a Taylor-like collapse. But its not as if we are 10 points behind a play off place. With a bit of look forest will get the manager of the month award and the same will happen to them!!!!
steflcfc Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 It's strange wonder if we will find out the reason our form has just gone pee poor the last 10 games. No fast passing Flair Confidence Ball kept on the floor. Then we had players return off loan/injury like Beckford Gallagher Wellens St Ledge and some players form dropped in those positions like nuge drinkwater knockaert...did these returning players have a negative effect on the camp? Is there split about between the new players and "old guard" who's futures at the club look bleak at best? The older lads knocking the younger less experienced players confidence? Something is clearly wrong, will we find out is it a player(s) falling out with each other or players and Pearson fallings out. Hopefully we will all find out as otherwise a new manager may face the same problems with "ego's" and "clicks" within the camp.

I assume they have been told not to say what is going until after the meeting tomorrow, But the players don't want Pearson in charge Pearson doesn't seem like the type of manager you can approach, you can't imagine Pearson putting his arm around a player after a bad result or having domestic problems at home. He seems very cold and negative. It might just be how he acts on camera/radio but he comes across as a type to slam the door on carol singers at Christmas.
Father Ted Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Lack of experience in this league. Don't think he is the right appointment personally. We could always start a war with Forest and use the excuse that the Kuwaiti owners are holding nuclear weapons at the City Ground
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Warnock has left leeds............... Please no That complete twxt ain't coming anywhere near Leicester I sincerely hope

flowwolf Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 How has this thread changed into a gay calendar Festival ?
Dan Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Yep ok, if that is what's happened then his time is up. No doubt about it. However, I'm going to say something a bit controversial now and that is: we haven't actually been that bad. I've been to every game in this run and there's now way we deserve as few points as we have, absolutely no way. I'm seeing players who are frustrated, disheartened but who haven't given up (although I doubted that for the first time today). I think we're very close to what you've described, a split in the camp, but we're not quite there yet. I'd give it one, maybe two, more games until I have to accept Pearson's lost the players. If I don't see fight on Saturday I won't defend him any more (if he's still here). One more game. PS - Thank you for considering my view instead of just taking a pop at me, appreciate it. You clearly weren't at Barnsley. We've gone on the worst run I've seen in years, playing awful football which is a huge insult considering we were at the total opposite end of the scale 4/5 months ago - and the Barnsley game was the cherry on the cake, the single worst display I can ever remember from a Leicester side. I genuinely thought we were as pathetic, if not more than the 6-1 at Portsmouth. I've backed Pearson a silly amount but even I'm losing faith in the bloke.
