chris_lcfc_85 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I think we all know, he's on borrowed time. To a degree, he's shot himself in the foot. If we'd have been in and around this position all season, we'd have most likely deemed it semi-acceptable that our current league position was semi-acceptable. It's the dramatic spiral downwards and shit performances, since we got knocked out of the FA Cup that should set alarm bells ringing. I can tolerate the odd poor performance here and there. We are all human at the end of the day. This team has though, showed they are capable of playing, far, far better than they are currently doing. Football is about entertainmen first and foremost, if we are losing and entertaining, we'd be unhappy but at least we'd have goals etc to cheer about. I feel sorry for the people that shelled out money to go too Pride Park on Friday and Oakwell yesterday, as by all accounts, both were woeful games and lacked any entertainment at all! I most certianely felt like I'd dodged a bullet by not going to Pride Park. I even felt like turning off the TV when I opted to watch it at home!!!!!! As a side note, I also hate the phrases "LOYAL SUPPORTERS" and "KEEP THE FAITH". They need to be canned. You can't keep the faith with Pearson any longer and loyal supports we are not as we are a baying mob, who would charge on the King Power ..... if it was 1072 AD. Yes i agree he's on borrowed time but the fans chanting Martin O'Neill's name yesterday are a disgrace. Whether, you like NP, hate him or what, you should never chant other managers names like that

Martin O'Neill isn't the man to take Leicester forwards. We have a footballing squad, we need a Manager that will play football and to a degree re-energize the players we have.

I think with 4 or 5 decent additions we'd be well on for a good season. We've shown we can play, add to that a little more experience and we'd be there. to many here expect instant success imo. yes its gone horribly off track, but I'm sure he would have learnt from that and will deal with it accordingly.

They never looked a good side, in his last season they weren't far off relegation and in the UEFA Cup (which hardly deserves to exist let alone be considered a worthwhile tournament) they were outplayed and about 3 or 4 nil down in at least two of the ties, before scoring a load of late goals.

He hasn't dealt with it for 12 games. He has brought in new players who have had no effect. What is going to change which makes him suddenly able to deal with it?

I do wonder whether you actually think before you post, to me you seem to just take snippets and cliches from things other people say and combine a load of them into one very poor and often nonsensical point. Really, do you have an opinion of your own, or do you just try to go along with whatever bullshit is currently popular?
