Happy Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Like the rest of your 'theories' then. Oooh the banterless king has been replaced by another twat
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I hope Pearson gets another season in honesty, sell on the high earners and dead wood. I think with 4 or 5 decent additions we'd be well on for a good season. We've shown we can play, add to that a little more experience and we'd be there. to many here expect instant success imo. yes its gone horribly off track, but I'm sure he would have learnt from that and will deal with it accordingly. Indeed, there's actually no-one available that I'd rather have at the helm starting next season. Pearson will be in full control and will have the squad well prepared to go again. Bring in a new man and we may not be so well prepared to start strongly. I'm willing to accept failure this season if it means we have stability for the next one.
Corky Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I thought he was very lucky at Boro. They never looked a good side, in his last season they weren't far off relegation and in the UEFA Cup (which hardly deserves to exist let alone be considered a worthwhile tournament) they were outplayed and about 3 or 4 nil down in at least two of the ties, before scoring a load of late goals. Maybe he was a bit lucky in that run, but he managed to inspire them to victories and a final. Look, I'm not saying he's perfect and would take us to the same level, but we have been linked heavily with inferior managers (I don't include MO'N in that) and I doubt it would happen anyway, but his CV is not the worst.
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 He hasn't dealt with it for 12 games. He has brought in new players who have had no effect. What is going to change which makes him suddenly able to deal with it? Of course the players he brought in have had an effect. I'm thinking of Wood and Keane, for instance who have either won us games or secured important points. Can't just blame it on the manager's player purchases, I'm afraid. Too simple an explanation. Our recent drop in form is a consequence of many different elements all coming together at once.
Kitchandro Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I know it is banter but imo The same sentiments apply anger and frustration obviously now it is directed towards NFP that is just one theory I have probably a shit one at that You see, once people start taking the piss you realise you've dropped a clanger and start to backpedal.
Happy Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 erm...yes. I do wonder whether you actually think before you post, to me you seem to just take snippets and cliches from things other people say and combine a load of them into one very poor and often nonsensical point. Really, do you have an opinion of your own, or do you just try to go along with whatever bullshit is currently popular? I have an opinion just frustration and ineptitude in my cognitive network isn't functioning. F**k me how I am going to get a 1st class honors I don't know In all seriousness though ever since NP reverted back to hoofball tactics the results haven't been forthcoming why he did that it is a mystery.
Babylon Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 He hasn't dealt with it for 12 games. He has brought in new players who have had no effect. What is going to change which makes him suddenly able to deal with it? It's a difficult one, last season we were rubbish under him and Sven, he looked like he was struggling to change things yet we came back after the summer with a few new players and suddenly performed well for quite some time and were 2nd not that long ago. Now we have slipped back into the rubbish and again he looks like he can't change our fortunes like last year. Perhaps a few signings in the summer will push us over the line... perhaps it'd be another waste of time. Is it coincidence that ourselves and Boro the two teams with the youngest squads up the top have dropped off considerably after being in good positions. I dunno. He's gone down in my estimation recently. Some ridiculous decisions and looking utterly clueless tactically. I hate the constant changes, but he's really not giving the owners much choice at this point.
indierich06 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 But the fans want him gone, what do you chant. You tool. Not all of them.
red5 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Guys please stop quoting me, my emails have gone mental. Just accept, pearson and marshall have to go the supporters can chant what they want, if you don't agree chant something you want. I still blame sven
FourtyFour Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 it's his wife's fault. he ain't getting any at home so he turns up to work a cranky sod. this then transcends to the players who perform poorly. come on mrs pearson (nigella?) give your hubby some lovin'
hackneyfox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Just because a neanderthal portion of our fans want him gone, you make the minority a majority? Speak for yourself first. And start chanting something funny or clever or whatnot - hurling abuse towards your team hardly makes things easier for anyone, does it? Do you believe the majority want to keep him?
ADAMSKI97 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Spoke this morning to a Barnsley players father who i know , he was at the game yesterday and said his lad spoke to a senior City star about whats gone wrong and he replied that they were all sick of Pearson and and had enough of him hes totally lost all of the players! This is fact trust me!!

MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Do you believe the majority want to keep him? I believe it to be a pretty heinous move to make the minority speak for the majority, coaxing them to believe into this massive wave of negative conclusions and opinions.
red5 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I'm 6`4" used to play for :iverpool and a multi-millionair this is fact trust me!
oohaahmustafa Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. A few random points from inside my head. The season is not over. We are 7th. We can still get in the playoffs and are in a great postion to do so. We have games against teams around us. We played crap for a quarter of the season but well for three quarters of it. Everyone has a bad run... sometimes short, somtimes long. Pearson is a decent manager. Pearson got us promoted. Pearson got us to the play offs. Pearson had us up to second this season. We cant play like this for ever. Support the team. People chanted for Oneils head. Rembember that?? You are fickle. Up the City!!
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I'm 6`4" used to play for :iverpool and a multi-millionair this is fact trust me! Oh no, not another numpty. Please, where have all these people come from in the past 24 to 48 hours? Please God, please, relieve us of this dyslexic bunch.

That's funny because I spoke to a Barnsley players father who I know, and he said his lad spoke to a senior City star about what's gone wrong and he replied that had headbutted every single player in the squad, before taking a shit in the back seat of Top's car. THIS IS FACT, TRUST ME.

ACTUALLY THAT ONE IS TOO FARFETCHED.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Just because a neanderthal portion of our fans want him gone, you make the minority a majority? Speak for yourself first. And start chanting something funny or clever or whatnot - hurling abuse towards your team hardly makes things easier for anyone, does it? You criticise the guy, and maybe you are right. Then you state that fans who want Pearson out "are a Neanderthal portion" Just how two faced is that. You sir, are the Neanderthal, for making such a statement. .
