Sack him now!

Guys please stop quoting me, my emails have gone mental.

Would it be ridiculously immature for everyone to quote him now... ooops I just did.

You criticise the guy, and maybe you are right. Then you state that fans who want Pearson out "are a Neanderthal portion" Just how two faced is that. You sir, are the Neanderthal, for making such a statement. .

Oooh, are we personally affected by said statement?

Maybe I hit the nail on the head.

29 pages in and its still a case of has he been sacked yet or has he not.

Its like the Maynard saga all over again

We'll probably find out he's had a pay-rise.

lol very true knowing our luck

I've stated previously on this forum I neither like nor dislike big Nige but he isn't going to turn this form around so from a purely football point of view and to go forward something needs to change IMO

How come this board is so insistent on slagging each other off and not discussing football?

In the end, we're all a pretty emotional bunch.

Some can elaborate on it a bit further and paraphrase it extensively, others can't (or can't be arsed to).

When you're discussing a bad run of results and the possible sacking of the manager, things tend to heat up, anyway.

Most rationale goes out of the window early on in such cases - as demonstrated by the amount of threads on the same subject and the large influx of previously unheard members or total newbies, venting their virtual anger on here.

It is understandable that things do get heated but at the end of the day we all support 1 team! I like Pearson but think it's time we split company and went seperate ways... I thank him for everything he has done for us and if he does get the boot I'm sure he will move onto another club and do just as well.

Now lets all kiss and make up :) Saturday is a huge game which as always is a 50/50 chance of winning :) hope we smash them but if we don't it's back to the drawing board.

If it doesn't happen today it won't happen at all, I suspect. It will feel like they've given up on the season to me if he isn't sacked.

The more I calm down the more willing I am becoming to let Pearson have the rest of the season at least, can't really justify why, call it blind faith, stupidity or whatever. Or maybe it is just fear of who we might end up with afterwards. If I remember rightly, the Thai's struggled to get their main targets last time didn't they and were forced to go back to Pearson.

We're not far away from having a decent side, as most of this season has proved, the question is whether Pearson can identify what has gone wrong then rectify it for next season. A couple of good signings and we could be a good side next season. I would also look into the coaching staff, Chris Powell was never replaced and I think Pearson could need a coach who can build relationships with players and keep up morale as this is clearly not his strong point. Someone like Phil Neville if he plans to retire this season.

As for the alternatives, I'd love MON just for the initial excitement it will bring, other than that there are managers out of work who have generally failed at other clubs or we take a chance on a manager such as Powell for examples. A couple of years ago I'd have liked Owen Coyle, but it's gone a bit pearshaped for him recently.

But they went for fairly high profile targets, the odds were always going to be against us getting them.

There are candidates out there of a lower standing who could do a good job.
