Manwell Pablo Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Because i care about the club i hate pearson. Oh right. So you're going to hate every manager that doesn't get us up in his first full season then? I was bought up supporting this club by people not much older than you and it amazes me having seen the benefit that stability can offer that you are so short sighted and so against the one man out of 6 or 7+ that has managed to actually achieve something at this club and given us something to actually play for, to the extent you wont even lend him your support for the final few games when we all need to stick together.
Harry - LCFC Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 I've been anti Pearson since day one. Because i care about the club i hate pearson. These two posts prove that you actually don't care about the job he does. You just dislike the man plain and simple. Let me ask, did you want him sacked when we were second in the league? Did you want a man who appeared to be taking us in the right direction to me removed from the job?
5waller5 Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 So if you care about the club you get behind the team for the last 4 games and talk about a new manager in the summer then surely? I doubt that NP is bothered one bit whether i share my opinion on FT. I can't see how me saying he's great on here will make a jot of difference either.

Nope. I'll hate any arrogant stubborn tactic-less baffoon that manages through fear in a 20 year out of date style. Especially if they have been given the financial backing that should see us easily in the automatic places and not showing the form of over a quarter of a season of a side 10 points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Walker Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 I doubt that NP is bothered one bit whether i share my opinion on FT. I can't see how me saying he's great on here will make a jot of difference either. Er, will anything said on here make a jot of difference? Just get behind the team (unfortunately for you) managed by Pearson for the last 4 games for Gods sake. Then moan about him being terrible should we not get in the playoffs!!
5waller5 Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Pretty sure it wont be statistical the worst run in 30 odd years. Performance wise, it's far from the worst run I've seen in the last 10 never mind since I've supported us. So struggling to see what your getting at besides caring more about hating Pearson than caring about the club. I'm pretty sure you're right .... But i can't think of when a worst run would have been .... I would think we'd be back to pleat's era for a run this bad.

Thought that was obvious.

Just get behind the team (unfortunately for you) managed by Pearson for the last 4 games for Gods sake. Then moan about him being terrible should we not get in the playoffs!! No it won't. So why get behind him?? Why not just say what you think on a forum?? And if that's the case - what i think is that the guy is useless.

BECAUSE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT HE WILL BE IN CHARGE (OF OUR CLUB, THE CLUB YOU WANT TO DO WELL) FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON.
Happy Fox Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Do people honestly think we will make the playoff now? we have blown it imo today was our last chance saloon imo, we have to win all our remaining games to have even the slightest chance not saying it is impossible but very unlikely will need a 100% u-turn in form, cannot see it happening.
5waller5 Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 I was talking about getting behind the team at games rather than bitching about Pearson on FT. Thought that was obvious. So I'll refer you to my very clear previous post ..... I sang and got behind the team all game. I then came home and watched the game i recorded on sky. Then i came on here and shared my opinion - that NP is way out of his depth and doesn't have it in him to stop this rot. Why do you assume that because I don't rate NP that i didn't back the side int he stadium??? I thought the support tonight was remarkable and was incredibly behind NP given the situation we're in. BECAUSE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT HE WILL BE IN CHARGE (OF OUR CLUB, THE CLUB YOU WANT TO DO WELL) FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. I agree .... he will .... and we are writing off the season.

I would think we'd be back to pleat's era for a run this bad. Then why say it then??? Championship level more than likely. Or when we went down. Quite sure we'd of managed worse in both Prem relegations.

I said it was the worst run i can remember in 30 years .... you said it probably wasn't statistically. I agree it probably isn't .... but I can't think of one that's worse. What's hard to understand?

We got nine points from our last fourteen games at the end of 00/01, then ten from our first fourteen at the beginning of the next. Later that season there was a run of six points in fourteen matches. Under Levein our disastrous run, when looked at over a fourteen game period, was seven from fourteen. So what are we on now? Eight from fourteen games? It's up there! Edit: Someone tells me that's eight from thirteen (I must have included the cup tie). But you get the idea.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Seriously where is the next win coming from?

5waller5 Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Oh the Levein years . . . . . I actually liked Levein!!!! It makes it even more bizarre to think how little time i have for NP and yet liked Levein!!!! I think it's the innocence of youth!!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Even most of the anti-pearson fans have some intelligence and reasoning, but you're just a cretin! . Sticks and stones sonny.

When I'm in the company of friends (whether they're Leicester fans or not) I have a habit of ranting, and then angrily picking up 'Of Fossils and Foxes' to demonstrate my point (this only happens at my house - I don't take a copy out with me). Tonight I've isolated myself with a computer and am not coming out, but the same basic principle applies. The season was 05/06 and he was fired at the end of the run. So surely all we need to do now is fire Pearson and appoint Rob Kelly.

So going back further ..... if we give first place to Levein, how long is this the second worst run in?? 12 years??

So going back further ..... if we give first place to Levein, how long is this the second worst run in?? 12 years?? Stretched over a thirteen game period, like this run, the next one was a run of eight in thirteen in the Premier League under Adams, in 2005. Unless I'm mistaken. Before that you do indeed comfortably break the ten year mark, and go back to Bassett in 2001-02. At this level we're on our second worst run of results, over a thirteen game period, since before the 1970s. I'd guess you might have to go back to the Duncan team of the late 40s, or even before that to find worse. And if you maintain that 'thirteen game' comparison, and we lose on Tuesday, then it would be a worse run than the one under Levein. So yes, then we could say it's the worst run in this league for at least fifty-five or so years, possibly sixty plus. That's how abjectly bored and fed up I am this evening!

No surprise at all those statistics, what is amazing though is there are still numpties out there defending him (which is ironic really because his team can't )
Rusko187 Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 I did want him out after the Millwall game but since than I've seen a more positive direction, last night we could have easily walked away with all 3 but being low on confidence we lost it right at the death. Hopefully last night would be the kick the team needs to push on. Pearson in!
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 IM not saying he's god by any means but sacking him now solves nothing. Plus im not a numpty for defending him, that's my opinion and i personally believe the players need to take some more responsibility
