broughtonblue Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 We dont have a choice about when our games are moved from the traditional saturday 3pm kick off. Monday night. Tues night. Thurs night. Friday night. Saturday evening or sunday afternoon. As with most of you i would prefer saturday 3pm but if they are moved i must say i quite like friday nights. End of a long week at work, few beers before hand, match then few beers after. Then a full free weekend to do whatever i want. Which do you prefer?
Hollism Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Monday and Thursday are the worst, I can live with the others but Saturday 3pm is ideal
Leicesterpool Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Monday and Thursday just don't seem right, don't mind Friday nights to be honest.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Friday nights are in some ways better than Saturday 3pm. I got steaming before the game on Friday, even more steaming after, ended up in bed at 630am Saturday, slept a bit then have had the whole weekend to myself
gazlcfc27 Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Im still hopeing that the last 13 games were all 1am monday morning, and i dreamt them all.
melrose Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 These Friday games are a nightmare for shift workers!
lestajigs Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 I like Friday night games, although I'm at work for the watford game
blueblood88 Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 I like friday night games because i binge on friday nights. And i really like to binge.
ScouseFox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 They're fine for everyone who lives within an hour or so of the ground. Not sure how anyone like myself (and there's quite a few long distance ST holders) is expected to get there in time, or get back home after on public transport. I enjoy them if I can get there though, Friday was fun.
acooling08 Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Saturday 3pm is always the best, but Friday nights are a close 2nd. Hate tuesdays and other midweek games.
kingfox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Any time on a Saturday is great. Midweek games can be really boring, and depressing, Friday nights not much better going by recent games.
melrose Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Night games don't have the same attraction at the KP as they did at filbo under floodlghts. Even when approaching the ground the glare of the lights gave you a buzz of anticipation!
Dan Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Saturday 3pm. Something's seriously, seriously wrong when I go to a Saturday 3pm home game and it genuinely feels weird. This season's honestly been a bit spoilt by all these silly kick-off times, capped attendances etc... it's an absolute farce.
GingerrrFox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 I know it's not traditional like 3pm kick offs on a Saturday, but I actually think I prefer Friday night kick offs. If we lose it gives me another day to get over it before back to work, also it's nice to know that if we do win other teams around us know they have to win to keep up with us. Would be an advantage if the team had actually won a game since February. Also big fan of horse racing so it gives me the opportunity to enjoy that as well as the Leicester.
deanolegend1989 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Saturday 3pm is always good but if not Saturday 12.45 after soccem am is a good slot to have(although we never play then!). Followed this by Friday nights which I quite like as well, then Tuesdays are ok to get over a loss on the previous weekend to recover. Thursdays/Mondays are total crap, should never be done!
J.Lisemore Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 It all comes to down to personal working patterns, don't care when its on aslong as I can attend.
