Boston Marathon hit by explosions

Recommended Posts

Like the conspiracy that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.

Nah, more like the Moon Landings, John F Kennedy, Princess Di, 9/11, The Boston Marathon bombings, and, pathetically, the murder in Woolwich.

The Andrew Mitchell plebgate affair? Is that yet another anomaly?

Questioned only some three months after the event and I do not remember the media challenging the original narrative from the Police when it happened. Surely the bigger embarrassment is for Plod? That is now seemingly whitewashed as in the subsequent six months of "investigation" it has not gone anywhere. Are the "reputable" media all over this?

It's yet another example of the unquestioning press trying (and succeeding) to get a minister sacked. Any journalist would love to bring a govt down and any pretence that they are all pro govt stooges is frankly pathetic.

Equally ridiculous to suggest that the press in general are reputable. How many newspapers (and potentially other media outlets) have corruptly paid for information from Public Officials?

Why would they do that? According to you the govt tell them what to write.

So we can conclude that news gatherers in the UK are neither reputable nor investigative. Just as well ordinary people ask difficult questions.

How do you conclude that they are not investigative?

They rewrite Government (National and Local) press releases and then pay Public Officials for tittle tattle. :dunno:

This thread is hilarious. Chameleon bags. No blood, blood, no blood. Red arrows to prove a man has a bag, foot, cap and sunglasses (maybe he doesn't have eyes after all we can't see them), and the FBI aren't very good at photoshopping. :D

I think the one thing that proves this is no conspiracy is the large ammount of variables, too much that can go wrong, too many ways that the authorities could get found out. If they wanted to set a bomb off they could have done with a lot less fuss.

Exactly the same as WTC "conspiracy", but it didn't stop a 50 page thread on the subject :)

Despite the tin foil helmet brigade on here claiming it was a conspiracy, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has, unsurprisingly, been found guilty of the attacks.

Found guilty on death penalty charges so it will move to second phase of the trial to decide whether to execute or give him life.
