dayday Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Interesting to see he may well start for Palace today...the lad had a bit of a reputation and never got going for us,though now it looks like he has finally knuckled down, just wondered whether we should have persevered with him for those who watch the reserves.

They only recalled him fron loan from league 1 because of injuries/suspensions
KFS Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Last time I heard he was going to America. Very strange.
Alexikokopops Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 I saw him play for Plymouth against Wimbledon a few weeks ago. He scored for them and looked alright. That was League 2 mind
Babylon Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 I saw him play for Plymouth against Wimbledon a few weeks ago. He scored for them and looked alright. That was League 2 mind Josh Low was in team of the year in league 2.
RowlattsFox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Read something on bbc by guy branston at Plymouth and he didn't seem too fussed to see him go back. Did seem to score a couple though.
kingfox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 His name has definitely caught my eye, he has been scoring pretty well while on loan at Plymouth. Might be one of those players we let go too early, like Billy Kee and Billy McKay.
stix Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Last time I heard he was going to America. Very strange. He did go to the US to play in the MLS with Seattle i think.
New England Fox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 He did go to the US to play in the MLS with Seattle i think. He got drafted by them last year, they released him a month later after training camps.
Soar Fox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Might be one of those players we let go too early, like Billy Kee and Billy McKay. Yeah because they are doing really well in league 2 and the SPL.
kingfox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Yeah because they are doing really well in league 2 and the SPL. Kee 13 goals this season, in a side which are in the play-offs. McKay 20 goals this season, more than someone like Gary Hooper. So yeah they are doing really well.

kingfox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 In League 2 and the SPL. What does that matter? Should be pleased for them, after they come from our academy. McKay was even linked with a return in January.

Well it matters because you said we'd "let them go to early" as if you were saying we should've kept them because they're better than what we have now. When they're not. They're playing in League 2 and the SPL.

Well it's nice to see them doing well for there clubs, some players have gone on and done poor at other clubs, but at least these two are scoring goals. Both might make the step up, and come and play in the Championship or League 1. I'm sure some people on here said years ago when Kee left, that they were surprised that he didn't get a chance with us.
Father Ted Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Seems like a massive knob. Plymouths captain slagged him off when he returned to Palace.
FoxesFan123 Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Blackburn all let him go before he was 18 years old. Something definitely wrong there. We saw some potential as well but then had to let him go.
SmithyFox12 Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Banton was League 2 player of the month for March, while at Plymouth.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 League 2 is for kids. My dick could bag 10 goals in that league and my bollucks 5 each. That's 20 for the season pal
SystonFox Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 Jason banton was only ever bothered about twitter followers not actually being a proper footballer. Neil Danns wannabe
