ADK Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Watford will be much harder to beat next season than Palace imo, so from our point of view a Watford win wouldn't be too bad. As much as we'd love to see them thrown out the league for their loan exploiting, i can't see the league reacting quickly if at all and Watford will probably walk the league next season.
marko Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Anyone seen Gollum's dance last night? http://www.keek.com/7YB/keeks/Tlkdcab
RedHux Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Fair play to their fans, they do create one of the best home atmospheres in the Championship. They were excellent when they came to us and I don't think they'd have had to bother with the play-offs if Freedman hadn't gone to Bolton, Holloway has hindered their development in my view. Palace fans were very average at the city ground,it was just like any other average London club's fanbase. I expected better. I'll be rooting for Watford because they play the better football, tore us apart in the both games we played against them and I know Graham Taylors daughter. The only connection I have with Palace is my mates brother supports them...and he's a ****.
Maybes Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Really couldn't give a toss who went up. No interested in the Championship play-offs after our cruel exit.
I am Rod Hull Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 I`ll probably still be too upset to watch it but hope Palace do em.
Matt Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Those grapes are sour ain't they? ....Anyone for a bitter?
MC Prussian Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Apparently, they're getting a slightly modified crest soon:
Wymsey Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I don't see the point in the logo change, but it looks quite nice.
theessexfox Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 If Palace go up some morons on here will use it to 'prove' that Hollowhead is far superior to Pearson
Guest Bilo Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Since his almighty fvck up here, Holloway has taken two sides with modest budgets to THREE play-off finals. I think he learned an awful lot from his time here, albeit to our detriment, and a lot of us are allowing his terrible showing here to cloud our view of him.
I am Rod Hull Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Those grapes are sour ain't they? ....Anyone for a bitter? No sour grapes on my behalf, matey. Wanting Palace to win does not make me bitter.... I think you seek bitterness and thrive on sour grape energy like some bobble headed Doctor Who villain.

Fair play to him at Blackpool, he did well for them in this league, though clearly had a blind spot with regards to his defence, which never really showed any signs of improvement. At Palace though he really hasn't done anything yet, they've regressed since he's come in and were in poor form until the last 2 games.
KFS Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Just been on the Palace boards to see what our team elect are up to. Apparently Watford fans are even more big headed, and they've had a group of spastics invade like we did. Also, the Watford team have taken a break to Marbella for some light training. Good idea? Could backfire
Guest Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I don't support Palace. I can't stand Holloway. Watford FTW.

Could backfire Haven't notice any on the Homesdale Online one.. We should be ok - so long as Sean Murray isn't going as he is the one who seems to be the problem off the pitch this season. Shame as he is a great young prospect throwing his career away potentially with the poor attitude.
ScouseFox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Can't see a short break for light training being too much of an issue, they were never going to train intensely for 15 straight days between semi and final.
