foxfanazer Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I just sat here chuckling to myself for about 5 minutes after watching that goal. Unreal.Great goal! Although Wilshere never meant the flick back to Giroud
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Well I can guarantee it will not be Liverpool, you do seem pretty obsessed with Liverpool, aren't you? It's quite embarrassing really. Still not paying your debt? Tut tut. I just really really dislike the team and in particular their fans moreso the glory hunters who arent from liverpool
morris1234 Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 English media are strange. Why is there always so much hype over certain players for barely any reason? Particularly those playing for England? Fed up of hearing about Andros Townsend and Adnan Januzaj. Both good players, excellent football players even, but calm the utter fu3k down! And to be honest I don't care who januzaj plays for? When he plays week in week out, champions league football too and is consistently causing his opposition some problems, then ill listen. It was Rooney, then Walcott, then wilshere, now januzaj and he's not even confirmed for us. It's absolutely woeful when sky decide to do the 'keys and gray' style analysis on 3 clips of them playing being utterly pedantic about something they didnt actually mean!
kingfox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Can anyone see Arsenal actually winning the Prem? Was looking at there 18 man squad last night against Norwich, and even though they won 4-1 and are top overall, they could be even hard to beat when they have certain players to comeback. Cazorla has just come back from injury, while they have Podolski, Walcott & Oxlade-Chamberlain to all comeback as well, I think calling on youngsters like Gnabry & Eisfeld in particular isn't a bad thing either, they are two talented players. They can rotate the midfield if they want, while Giroud has been a revelation this season & is banging in the goals. It just goes to show how the form of two players, in Ozil and Ramsey can change a teams fortunes & make them play much better. They are outstanding to watch, long may it continue.
Guest shearfox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Can't stop watching that Arsenal first goal!!!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Yes I can quite easily see them winning the league. I was surprised Shearer and Hansen thought differently last night. They're the clear favourites for me, by quite a long way.
AKCJ Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 The problem with Arsenal is that I don't think they have leaders. They don't have a Viera type leader in their dressing room, it'll be very interesting to see how they cope if they go into a rough patch.
morris1234 Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Arsenal and Southampton the teams to beat for me. Very impressive.
AKCJ Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Arsenal and Southampton the teams to beat for me. Very impressive. The top of the table hasn't been this interesting in a long time.
morris1234 Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 The top of the table hasn't been this interesting in a long time.Agreed, only just noticed chelsea are second. I had them down to run away with it tbh with Mourinhos return but they have looked far from dangerous. Have they played any top sides yet?I Hate Liverpool but Suarez and sturridge are so dangerous.

I think Mertersacker is a pretty strong willed, level header kind of guy. If I was to say anyone was the leader in that dressing room I'd say it's him.

Jimothy Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I'd agree. Arsenal fans seem very happy with flaminis return also, he's a real talker on the pitch. Yeah, as great as the Ozil signing is, the flamini one is almost as important. He brings them the kind of player they've not had since he left really.
kingfox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I'd agree. Arsenal fans seem very happy with flaminis return also, he's a real talker on the pitch. Agree on that score. Think it was the Spurs game, he came on for Wilshere just before half time, and was absolute class, was the best player on the pitch that day in my opinion. Great little signing, and adds depth to the midfield, Flamini can hold, while Ramsey, Arteta & Wilshere can be more forward looking, then in front of them there's Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski. Very very decent.
Jimothy Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Surprised Spurs have dropped Erikson. He's looked quality since he came. Replaced him with Holtby, who I've never really seen what the hype is about.

Because of the constant decrease in standards. It's the truth.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 This is a dull game. Thought villa were supposed to have vocal home support?
Ross-Kemp Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Smoke bomb hits the linesman. No pyro no party.
Guest shearfox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I think Real Madrid bought the wrong player...
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 There's nothing wrong at all with smoke grenades being present at the football. Until ***** throw them onto the pitch hitting linesmen and ball boys. Twats.
Ross-Kemp Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I just heard on the radio, 'oh more trouble in the crowd with flares and smoke' 'when will this stop etc' Clowns throwing them about like has happened will not help dinosaurs views change.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 It's not 'trouble' either really providing it doesn't get thrown. It's a bit of smoke in an open place.
marko Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Complete idiot for throwing it, but it was one hell of a shot to hit the linesman from that distance.
Leicesterpool Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 It's been an interesting game to be honest, Villa have had the chances to equalize.
