Guest MattP Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 I assume MattP started his reply almost immediately after Webbo started this thread but he's just still listing 'em. Mine isn't anywhere near as impressive as some, what a good well travelled bunch we have. All of the British Isles France Germany Spain Italy Denmark Sweden Hungary Holland Belgium Latvia Iceland Czech Greece Turkey Egypt USA Canada Mexico Australia New Zealand India Sri Lanka Thailand China Hong Kong Singapore UAE Bahrain Qatar Sure I've missed a couple somewhere.
Jordan Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 Canada England Iceland Yes, I'm American, in case you couldn't guess.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 Another reason I didn't like Australia was because I couldn't stand most of the people I met and the outright racist attitudes I observed towards the aboriginal populace. You quoted me then start talking about racism to Aborignials Is that why they play in black? Hahaha
muzzycomeback Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 USA Canada Honduras Costa Rica Nicaragua Peru Chile Argentina Indonesia Singapore Malaysia South Korea North Korea Japan Tanzania Norway Sweden Denmark Iceland Slovenia Turkey Greece Malta Spain France Monaco Italy Croatia Bosnia Serbia Bulgaria Switzerland Austria Germany Holland Hungary Luxembourg Belgium England Scotland Wales Think that's it. Will have to think if there are others. North Korea's impressive!
Monk Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 North Korea's impressive! Well... It was only brief - walking around the negotiation table in the joint security area between the two countries. One side is the south, the other is the north. No stamp in my passport though!
Monk Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Did a blog post on it. http://lostintrepid.com/seoul-the-pulse-of-south-korea-part-2/

Guest Bilo Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Did a blog post on it. http://lostintrepid.com/seoul-the-pulse-of-south-korea-part-2/ Fascinating reading that mate. You can actually go to Pyongyang as well, albeit through North Korea's state tourism which means everything is controlled to the nth degree.
OzFox Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Canada England Iceland Yes, I'm American, in case you couldn't guess. I thought Iceland would crop up a bit more than it has...only three or four have been mentioned it so far. Would like to go there one day

Pay a wedge and fly in via China, and you can have a guided tour like any other holiday. It's bloody weird though apparently. Ironically enough I can't do it now, because I've got a South Korean visa in my passport.

If all of your other holidays involve being supervised at all time, and having no discretion of what you can or cannot take photos of. I thought about doing it but it all seems like a bit of a charade really, and it doesn't feel right to go morally - same reason I won't go to Tibet (for now).

Not just Seoul either, get out into the countryside and a lot of it is gorgeous.

If you want a holiday where you are supervised all the time go with your wife! Having looked at all these posts I am wondering which countries have not had the benefit of a visit from a foxestalker?
