Elvis on trial with Watford

Whoever he is, if he signed Zola would turn him into a 20 goal a season striker anyway.

It's not anyway, regardless we will have the best squad in the league and we are signing internationals. I'd forgotten all about Vydra till someone just mentioned him above, don't think anyone's too fussed about what he does anymore.

Zola isn't a magician. He can't magically turn someone in to a 20 goal a season striker you clown  lol

You don't even know who Elvis Hammonds is ffs, I can't wait to see you in May when you realise what a flop he is.

lol lol lol  :crylaugh:

I would love to describe my series of laughter, but it wouldn't be appropriate in terms of space wasted for all the LOLs and smileys.

Either you're on the wind-up or just very, very deluded by recent "successes".

Hammond is 32 - and just about the type of player you're looking at getting this season. lol

I actually used to like Elvis in the days when I barely went to the game and only listened on the radio every so often. It was purely because of his name of course. Still, I'll always remember his goal against Spurs.

Swear he almost missed the ball then aswell. Lucky it didn't go under his foot

He did, just trickled over didn't it?

Had he actually manage to miss when the ball was pretty much in the net I'd have left the ground.

It's hard to actually remember just how bad he was, he could trap it further than a lot of players could kick it.

Wait, Elvis Hammond? 20 goals a season?

A season or two ago we would have probably signed him TBH!

Would he be worse than the likes of Joe Garner or Steve Kabba we spent fairly big money on by our standards.

Fortunately the real transfers that are happening are rather more pleasing/positive.

He shouldn't of even been playing league football in his mid 20's never mind now he's 32. Train wreck of a player.

Didn't he have pace?

That seems to be what gets youngsters into the game and then its hoped their skills develop afterwards.

Clearly didn't happen in this case.

He was very quick, but then so is a greyhound.

I can imagine that pace will be going or gone now, leaving him with absolutely nothing to offer a professional side.

Hasn't he just come out of prison too?!

Yeah. Now imagine if it was true, and they resigned King. Could have a front three of Deeney, Hammond and Marlon King.
