Dan Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I know it sounds a stupidly obvious solution but I'd just google it or sign up to FM Base etc... (or even have a look around there as I'd be surprised if it's not been covered at some point), I'm pretty sure my mate managed to recover a game from 'crash dump' status. Anyhow, Lazio. I've decided after looking at their squad to use the same formation I used at Sevilla with a couple of tweaks. I'm convinced I'd have eventually got it right there but all the small things seemed to go against me - as well as me being daft enough to think that I'd get away with playing the offside trap with two slow centre backs. I've only signed Nico Gaitan. Things are going pretty well so far although I'm getting a bit pissed off with these draws. Torino and Atalanta particularly pissing me off. AC Milan believe it or not are actually bottom and that was only their second point, I was lucky to get it. 6th isn't bad and I'd take it this season. Was delighted with the Super Cup win. Expect to get a decent backing in the next season or two so I can turn these into a quality side.
morris1234 Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Try going into the 'my documents' then si games file, there's usually a crash dumps file in there, delete it. Sometimes it will be fine, others, it will for a bit but will eventually go again!

Dan Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Uuurgh. I knew it would all be too good to be true. Hernanes wants out due to them ***** PSG's interest. Worst of all I actually have the pricks in the Europa League if I get past Feyenoord and they get past someone who I'm pretty certain they'll beat. I thought I'd got away from these. Having said this - Hernanes is 28. A very good player, but if I can take in twenty million then I've done well. I've got Felipe Anderson but he's not really performing well whenever I play him and he's more for the future. I might just hang on to an unhappy Hernanes until the end of the season, and hope that Catania drop off (they're still 2nd) so we can get in the 'Champions' League.

Started off so well but after Sassuolo we've lost 3 and drawn 2 which has sent us plummeting to 16th. No tactic seems to work for me, not even my trusty 4-2-3-1 which I've been playing with at Leicester. Tempted to try 3 at the back. Decided to completely experiment and try to play an Ajax style total football formation. 1-3-3-3. Could, and probably will, go horribly wrong nothing else seems to work.

Barca have only just broke Into top 4 with 4 games to go! Highlights of the season have been my 8 game winning run, finished by a 5-0 away loss to Atletico Madrid and ermmmmm....oh yeah just beaten Bayern in the semi final of the champions league 5-3! Was 0-0 in Munich, then at the mestalla went 1-0 down, We then took the lead to 5-1 going into the 80th minute and managed to hold on!! Currently 5 points behind Madrid in 1st with 4 games to go!! Real then play barca at the nou camp and lose 1-0! I win my game in hand and it's down to 2 points! Madrids next game is against 3rd place Atletico Madrid!!! Players that have stood out... Johan martial and victor Ruiz have commanded at CB. Got an awesome French left back coming in on a free at the end of the season from Monaco! Hugo mallo at rb has been awesome too! Parejo has racked up 18 assists in cm with several injuries to Canales keeping him out the side, who still got 10 goals in 32 appearances I think! De zabalza is a youth product and despite being 18 with simply good stats, the CDM has been one of my most consistent performers throughout, particularly against the big sides! Eduardo luque, 18 year old argentine has scored 26 in 34 with Luuk de Jong bagging 28 in 40 with 14 assists. Keko at RAM has been awesome, Bernat at LAM has been an utter menace for me and signing Dybala for 1.5 million, Ravel Morrison for 900k and Jese from Real Madrid for 8.75 million have really pushed me to the next level! Now face Man U in the champions league final at the millennium stadium and hopefully we can topple Real Madrid!

Getting pretty ****** off at opposition carving through my defense like a hot knife through butter too, no matter how I set up. What is with players backing off all of the time, and players gliding through each other constantly?! So much less realism than I remember from FM12 (the last FM I bought).

Hernanes decided he wanted to stay after I didn't sell him in January. The best offer was £12mil from Zenit. Appalling.
