Getting pretty ****** off at opposition carving through my defense like a hot knife through butter too, no matter how I set up. What is with players backing off all of the time, and players gliding through each other constantly?! So much less realism than I remember from FM12 (the last FM I bought). try asking your center mids to closem down and mark tighter

Fair play, I'm 10th and currently in the middle of December so it's not too bad but it's just annoying when I win at Everton, Villa and Arsenal (yeah, not sure how I did that!) but lose to the likes of Fulham and Wigan (and Wigan are bottom of the league and get hammered by everyone).

Tried setting all to ultra defensive even, but to no avail. Getting a bit fed up of it, so will leave it for a bit and start a save with Crewe, whom I've always enjoyed playing with in the past. Max Clayton is due to leave on a free though, and refusing to sign a new contract. Bit disappointing.

cityfanlee23 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 ye, LCFC do great usually under pearson, but whoever comes in (if they do) properly screws the club up In every save I have done, (478,038) LCFC get sold within 2 years, The new owners sack pearson, and within 4 seasons, they are in league 1 with monsterous debt... On my celtic save Season 2017/18. Leicester are in league 1 mid table, and the club value has dropped to £7m With the highest paid wage Jamie Vardy on 6k

Slight overexaggeration haha, But I've been most teams, I just get bored so quickly and start a new one, The only save I've been moderately interested in is Celtic in the English premier league

Dan Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Agree about the Premier being boring. I always get bored of it for some reason. So I'm out of the Europa League. I beat Feyenoord away 1-2 and drew at home 1-1, so I braced myself for PSG. Only to find out that they went out to Rubin Kazan they lost 1-2 at home and drew 0-0 in Russia, I fancied myself to get through here but knew Rubin couldn't be that bad if they've beat PSG over two legs. We've fallen victim. Lost 3-1 at their place, 5 minutes of madness in the second half which saw us ship three goals without the highlights even cutting out (if you get me) sent us packing. I beat them 1-0 at home - 36 shots to their 3, I only had one fit centre half so played a 3-6-1 like this; GK RD ----- CD ----- LD CDM CM - CM RAM - CAM - LAM ST I find it interesting how much I dominated them. I'm 7th in the league, I tend to go on good and bad runs, like 6 without a win then 5 straight wins. I'll finish around here I guess. Praying for a proper budget next season. I want a fair few players here but accept I probably won't get loads. A striker is the priority as Klose is kack and Floccari is the best of a bad bunch.
Beliall Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 had my last 2 home fixtures re-arranged thanks to a waterlogged pitch, and a rematch postponed, was 8 points clear at the top, now its 2 with 2 games in hand. will the board relay the pitch? no. but they accepted my request to buy the stadium

Beliall Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 won the scottish league 1. still refusing to sign a new contract though, im not sure i can do much more for these, and i need to get to a bigger club. saved and quit, some nice jobs in italy with Lecce and Hellas Verona dropping out of Serie B i could have a shot at managing there. Berwick have offered me a contract but ive got a feeling it will be a struggle to keep them up or even develope them as a team. do i leave now, and hope i can get a better job, or stick with them. scottish leagues are doing nothing for my reputation. not one club has come in for me yet, previous save in africa i had clubs coming on for me all the time.

Currently having success with a narrow 4-2-3-1; GK WB LD LD WB BWM BWM SS AP SS CF Thinking of dropping the CF back and lining up like; GK WB LD LD WB AM BWM BWM SS AP/EG SS Centre forwards seem completely useless on this, Knocky and Kakuta are scoring for fun as Shadow Strikers, wondering if the Anchor Man would tighten things up at the back. Also, what would be the difference between Advanced Playmaker and Engache?
