davieG Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 You can if you advertise it as that's what would happen to the money if the target isn't reached and unless people specifically request a refund (allowing people like yourself to do so). Yes provided you do it before people have committed money to the draw. This is not the case so you can't.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Great idea shall donate now. But will Matty James hear of this or what? If so, what are our reasons for sponsoring him? Is it because most believe he will be key to any success next season?
strattylcfc Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Skint atm but should be paid tomorrow.... I will be doing a couple brilliant Idea bud
strattylcfc Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Id be over the moon with the signed players shirt not even top prize
lcfc"weasel" Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 Wouldn't be allowed to fulfil prize 1, and wouldn't want 2 or 4 But will happily make a contribution should the event occur where I win prize 1 or 2 and am awarded prize 3 instead?

The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 Same here. I'd rather have the 2nd Prize rather than the 1st-unless I could give the 1st prize to mum dad grandma and brother.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 This should be made a sticky thread by the way
Guest ttfn Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 This should be made a sticky thread by the way If you get any more excited about this it's going to be a sticky thread anyway.

Babylon Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 I think the plan is to refund people. Moderators end of season party...

Mark Posted 12 July 2013 Author Posted 12 July 2013 Can anyone answer this or what?Of course James will be aware of his sponsor, companies sponsor the players each season. If you look in the programme and on player profiles on the os it shows who their sponsor is... that's the main reason I'm doing it and to help raise the funds I wanted to run a raffle to give away the other benefits to our members. Why Matty James? I picked him as the 3 good choices left were James, Drinkwater and Wood and he seemed the most popular on here!
Webbo Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 Moderators end of season party... Please give generously.

davieG Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 Unless there's a massive increase in participants very quickly I think Mark will be refunding people. I'm a little surprised by the lack of involvement by some of the most prolific posters and long time members who've had great service from this forum. But hey it's free country.

Maybe its best to leave until the end of the month. At least it gives people a chance to be paid.
