cc_star Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Pearson is going nowhere for the foreseeable future Deadwood playing staff are going nowhere for the foreseeable future What do people gain out of being a bunch of miserable, moaning c***s, who when combined in a football stadium on matchday create a negative atmosphere that is counterproductive to our common goal of having a successful season & playing some good stuff along the way? Please note: The opposite of being a miserable, moaning c*** (dragging everyone else, the players & the manager down) doesn't have to be a happy clapper We're all in this together from Schmeichel, James & Nugent to Danns, SSL & Gallagher, from someone going to their first game, to someone who saw Arthur Rowley banging them in, from Pearson to the fans - each and everyone of us We all want exactly the same thing - Success So, come on - what do you get out of it, and do you realise how counter-productive it's going to be?
Loggy88 Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 I'm fed up with negative fans as well. The team and manager need our support, back the foxes!
Fox92 Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 I do like a balanced view and sharing of opinions, this is what a forum is about, however there is a lot of negativity from certain posters. Some of which I don't think is warranted yet because we haven't even played a league game yet. I'll be bracing myself for 'we are getting relegated' if we lose on Saturday.
Guest Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 I guess DT, seenitall and ASS are off writing their essays in response
sylofox Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 If we won every game 6-0 and lost the last game of the season they would still moan. If we won the prem, champions league and fa cup they would moan we should have won the league cup or charity shield. Give up and ignore them you'll never win with them.
Leicester_Numan Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Maybe they're like alcoholics, they want to turn everyone else into miserable sods so they feel more normal? Shame I can't do smileys on this phone so they'd realise I'm not being serious. However, it's a theory
Matt Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 No-one wants to be negative, moan, miserable, slag the team off, but if people are frustrated then they will be negative, moan, be miserable, slag the team off and so they should. Now, we are at the start of the season, no-one should be frustrated at the moment, there shouldn't be negative comments at the moment, yes we havn't signed anyone barr 1 player, but you can blame the money thrown away over previous years not Pearson, e.t.c. I'm certainly not frustrated and negative atm, I may be during the season and people will know about it, I might not be, hopefully I won't be, let me tell you though, I'll tell it how I see it, i'm not going to look through rose (or blue) tinted glasses, i'm not going to lie, I will say it as I see it, hopefully i'll see it very good.
Captain... Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 They get to say I told you so when things aren't going well and they can act all smug as they predicted it first. If I felt anything like the negativity regularly seen on here I would never go to a match again.
Bert Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Sometimes what you see as negative talk may just be in actual fact, harsh reality. Personally I try and say it as it as. If that comes across as negative then then I'd like to think we've not played well as I generally like to try and stay positive. Maybe some people just have a negative nature. Last season is done with now, history. Lets just get behind the lads in hope of a better season.
Monsell1976 Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 These threads are all very similar, and is only going to go around and around in circles, something that is already being hotly debated on the other two threads. All sides need to get over it, some are happy with things, some are not, some like Pearson, some dont, some are negative in some people's opinions some are not. I appreciate it's been a boring preseason, but come on all these repetitive threads and repetitive arguments are killing this forum. You talk about negative people on here, were is the positives In this thread, it will decend into name calling of people who are not content with the management of the club, and then counter insults, not positive in my eyes. A positive thread would be " how can we unite the fans, and all back the club", etc, etc, positive.

Babylon Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 A positive thread would be " how can we unite the fans, and all back the club", etc, etc, positive. Euthanasia?
blueoveru Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 the forums about opinions you do'nt have to agree with anything....... just put your point of view out for debate
Babylon Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Now we begin moaning about the moaners. full circle And you are moaning about moaning about moaning...
Mack Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 We've signed one lower league player on a free and lost our only home friendly by a mile without scoring a goal. What do you expect? Street parties in celebration? In my opinion right now our fans have a right to be frustrated, and they shouldn't be bullied into silence by those who'd back 11 paraplegic dwarfs to win the league in a Foxes kit.
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 It's interesting that these type of threads are coming up in this pre-season. Under Sven (after his first summer) and then Nige, most fans I think were pretty buoyant and optimistic. I think this was reflected on the forum generally. I remember getting lots of abuse for daring to suggest, near the beginning, that I thought Sven wouldn't bring us success. It was pretty much the same last season if I recollect. When we first started the disastrous run, latter half of last season, some of us could kinda see what was coming. Suddenly the spark wasn't there in the players. They looked tired, and I believe we got found out. Again, mentioning some of this was hit with the usual 'Pearson-hater' kind of nonsense. Now it seems different. The forum seems more evenly split between those who think Pearson is going to finally do very well, those who really don't like him and some (like me) in the middle. For ages, trying to deliver some sense of balance has, I think, been very difficult. But get this.... Just because I think Pearson has weaknesses as a manager (and strengths) doesn't mean I'm not behind the team. If anything, it may mean I'm even more behind the team because actually, I just want to see LCFC do well and win something again. This jumping on any post which is deemed somehow as 'negative' (when it's just an opinion) is tiresome and quells any further discussion. It was for this reason that I used the term 'neither a Sven lover or hater be'... And the same stands for Pearson. Lets just try to have an adult discussion without it turning into some slanging match or one-upmanship because we all have the common aim at the end of the day, or so I thought? Just to finish... My love lies with LCFC, not with Nigel Pearson. This stems from watching the team from the age of 7, then living through the Little, Martin years, destruction by Taylor etc etc. If I get frustrated in Pearson, it's in Pearson the manager, not the person. I couldn't care a monkeys about him as a bloke. My angst is in the fact that we aren't achieving, in my eyes, and if this were the case under ANY manager, I'd say the same thing. That's why I was so pissed off last season when we effectively lay down and died in both cups. I don't want to see a team of mine give up that easily.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 I guess DT, seenitall and ASS are off writing their essays in response Ok. If this makes you feel better. N.P. is a God, who is the best thing since sliced bread: a man of deep intellect, who knows exactly what he is doing, and knows how to get the best out of this great side he has built. Jolly well done Nige, keep up the good work, and silence all those evil people who dare to criticise you. We all love you boss Three big cheers for Nigel. There we go.
Babylon Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 I think this was reflected on the forum generally. I remember getting lots of abuse for daring to suggest, near the beginning, that I thought Sven wouldn't bring us success. Wasn't there someone with a remarkably similar username and born in the same year as you banned for being rather abusive of Sven after about 10 games?
Guest Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Ok. If this makes you feel better. N.P. is a God, who is the best thing since sliced bread, a man of deep intellect, who knows exactly what he is doing, knows how to get the best out of this great side he has built.Nothing you write makes anyone feel better. If you're first instinct wasn't to spout ill founded nonsense so that it fits your agenda perhaps this wouldn't be the case.If you're too stupid to realise (which you do a good job of demonstrating) that there isn't one person on here that thinks in the way you've outlined above then perhaps you should just shut the fvck up eh?
Babylon Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 Now, now Don't worry you aren't included, you manage to express you opinion on him without calling him names and saying he's the worst manager in the history of managers.

iamafox Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 I can actually see this thread lasting the whole season judging by how negative some people are being at the moment.
Monsell1976 Posted 29 July 2013 Posted 29 July 2013 There you go then, start one we all know how that will go, just a guess there might be " get rid of the manager" comments, then all hell breaks loose. What I'm getting at is I love a good debate, but it's repetitive now, it's been debated to death, in some people's eyes a large number on here think alot of our support is negative, and I would agree to a certain extent( no more than all walks of life), but then I would argue the supposed negative people have some valid points, and are just not convinced by the management of the club. I just think it's probably happening as I am writing this, it will just decend into name calling. The season starts Saturday, lets hope we do well, and if the Nigel doesn't get it right then the powers that be will end the debate for us.
