I am married to a Jamaican, we are currently in the US and moving to Lesotho next week, I travel all over the world for work. /humblebrag I tend to think I am pretty good at relating to everyone and I try to be culturally sensitive. However, this guide strikes me as 'newspeak'. It seems we are closer to 1984 than I thought. Very scary.

Imagine, for example, the umpteenth corner not beating the first man and how disappointed that always makes the crowd feel. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine the circumstances under which one of the retorts from the crowd would be "that's gay". I've never heard anyone say or chant this at a football ground. Things must be different on Merseyside.

The idea of people being turned down for a job based on nothing but the colour of their skin horrifies me as well, irrespective of the motives behind it.
