Lionheart Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Reckon there would be a good few go to Wembley with the Andrews if they make it there.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 March 2014 Author Posted 11 March 2014 Nuneaton Boro beat Tamworth tonight Sitting 5th in the conference just amazing!
Corky Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Luton virtually confirmed promotion tonight, draw at nearest challengers Cambridge to remain 15 points clear with a vastly superior goal difference.

Just looked ,Luton took 2200!wow I think Cambridge Utd will be joining them via the play offs, I'd love to say Boro but somehow I can see it happening this year, there's too many good teams in the shake up and Boro simply don't score enough. Too many narrow wins for my liking. Even if Boro don't go up it's an amazing achievement for us to finish in the top half and even reaching the play offs.
Snooty Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 We took 300 Andrews to Rushden three rounds ago and decent numbers to East Preston. I'm doing Burnley instead but anyone fancies the first leg up at West Auckland it will be a good day buses are getting there in time for a good booze and watch City on Sky. Second leg expecting 1500+ at Canal Street as City ain't playing.

Leicesterpool Posted 20 March 2014 Author Posted 20 March 2014 Sad day for Boro, Kevin Wilkin the manager left for Wrexham today After being at the club for eight years!
Soar Fox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Sad day for Boro, Kevin Wilkin the manager left for Wrexham today After being at the club for eight years! Strange one considering Nuneaton are 4th and Wrexham are 17th. Without sounding disrespectful he must think they are a bigger club at that level. Or they have gave him more money.
Vardinhio Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Bromley have seriously screwed up my league winners accumulater, seems like they've completely blown a 12 point lead!

Without sounding disrespectful he must think they are a bigger club at that level. Or they have gave him more money. Probably more money and bigger club, I can understand him leaving due to Wrexham being a bigger club and being able to attract bigger named and better players to the club, but I do question timing and position. I think it would look better on his CV guiding Boro promotion to the football league rather than Wrexham.

I think it would look better on his CV guiding Boro promotion to the football league rather than Wrexham. Think being full time may have been the answer, Wilkin has left a full time job away from football, Boro only part time and although they are in play off positions Wrexhams playing budget is double that of Boro although Wilkin has worked wonders on a small budget in his time at Boro
Leicesterpool Posted 1 April 2014 Author Posted 1 April 2014 Of course no game on saturday for the foxes but there's a couple of interesting games in non league locally if your interested in attending a game, Boro face FC Halifax at home and St Andrews have got a big cup game against West Auckland.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Good 0-0 for Boston tonight, hope they get the PO's but its very tight
Soar Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Anyone interested in going to watch St Andrews on Saturday if you are a Leicester city season ticket holder you will get £2 discount on the gate.
Rincewind Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Thought it would cost less than £2 to get in. I shall need directions but I'll check Google maps. If Its Sth Wigston I could get a train the station is a few minutes walk from the centre.
Leicesterpool Posted 5 April 2014 Author Posted 5 April 2014 Boro lost 0-1 awful game, anyway i heard St Andrews lost to and i heard there was a bit of crowd trouble or something?
Soar Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Boro lost 0-1 awful game, anyway i heard St Andrews lost to and i heard there was a bit of crowd trouble or something? Lost 1-2 after being 1 nil up with 12 minutes to go. Couple of my mates got chucked out for having pyro. A little trouble but nothing worth ruining The Andrews cup run.

A little trouble but nothing worth ruining The Andrews cup run. I was near that. The pitch invasion/Stringer was funny but it got a bit daft afterwards.
Grandad. Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Feel for the Andrews, 11 minutes away from Wembley. Pleased for Brady, his name is being spoke about in non League football now, what a goal as well!

Leicesterpool Posted 7 April 2014 Author Posted 7 April 2014 It's been said that Hope Powell as been interviewed by the Boro! that would be interesting, could boro be the first male club to appoint a female manager?
