VinceNoir Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Is that official? A bit early that's been published, no? Interesting nevertheless.

VinceNoir Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Stringer tweeted it. Ah, right. Cool Interesting!
Lasty Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 fair play Nigel. At least it's not 8 at the back again
MikeyT Posted 17 August 2013 Author Posted 17 August 2013 Ah, right. Cool Interesting! Still no subs yet! Maybe we have none!
Jordan Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 I wasn't expecting that lineup--and I hope Nigel Clough wasn't expecting it, either.
lgfualol Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Interesting. I think that's quite good. Glad Moore is playing again. Needs a creative midfielder though.
kingfox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 So we used 3-5-2 away to Middlesbrough and we won, then today he changes it, to the worst formation we play, sticking two strikers out wide. Hate this formation, because when we are on the back foot, it turns into 4-5-1 and it becomes frustrating. If it works then great, but my first thoughts here is that Nigel has had a mare.
foxfanazer Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 What's the story with Knockaert? If there is one

Guest Col city fan Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Well no-one can complain that Pearson isn't going for it! 4-3-3 away from home... How many after the game will still be commending Pearson for his 'attacking stance' if we lose, I wonder.
Chazwaz Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Wow, I would never have guessed that. This will be an interesting game (I hope).
LCFC FOX Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Miquel, Hopper and Knockaert are there in the video that LCFC official posted
TrentFox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 I'm fascinated how Stringer knows this and who told him and why he'd post it when Direby still have 30 odd minutes to adjust their selection ???

I have seen a so called 4-3-3 under pearson many times, rarely would i call what he delivers to be attacking.

On a needs basis, he picked the right team and formation to beat Boro, this is what he feels will exploit Derby, he is doing everything people criticised him for not doing last season and still gets the moaners.
AKCJ Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 He clearly doesn't know his best side. He's added two players and had the whole summer to work it out. Starting to lose optimism.
