Just shows how ungrateful some fans can be, premiership football with some great players and they moan because they are "Hull Tigers". Maybe they shouldn't sing "Mauled by the Tigers", if they dont want to be associated. Are you on the wind up? Let's get this straight, the fans never owe an owner anything. Owners get into the business of owning a club for their own benefit, nobody else's. Especially this cvnt, he has no respect for the fans whatsoever. He thinks they owe him something because they're in the Premier League, that's the problem. Offering a refund makes it no less insulting, in fact it's more so, he's shitting on the history of the club with no remorse, and saying 'there - I'm a merciful owner'. It's as cheeky and smug as it gets. Hull fans need to step up and realise that their club is more important than a brief stay in the Premier League. This bastard obviously doesn't believe that they will want a refund - all that offer is is a public goading to the fans, saying 'I know you'll turn up anyway'. Time for those Hull City AFC fans to rummage down there and find some balls. This son of a bitch is raping their club and laughing at them whilst he's doing it. He thinks the fans are feeble, desperate and weak. Are they? We'll see.

I want us there but Jesus Christ, the lengths people would go to just to see their club there is amazing. I'm convinced some non-Premier League fans would welcome Red Bull to their club. How sad is that.

That he claims Twitter is a success through a short brand name it has no correlation whatsoever to this. A name change won't really alter the club's stance as a brand or attract massive, instant recognition from far-reaching areas, success on the pitch will. No doubt they'll wind up investing heavily in some sort of rebrand that could've gone to better use on better playing staff. Needless meddling from some old ****wit.

Hence, CTWD has to come out with a statement saying they don't encourage people to get a refund as we need to support the team. Though they understand peoples personal decisions. It's odd to have an owner who is coming up with hair brained get rich quick schemes whilst the supporters campaign for progressive and sustainable growth.

My happiest memories of supporting City are away days at the likes of Luton, Walsall and Southend. The Big League is consumed by greed and and selfishness, the pecking order has been built on the bones of the smaller clubs and it stinks. I long for the days when the money was spread more evenly and every club stood a chance of making it there and even winning it on occasion.

I would be hugely in favour of the club promoting the Tiger part of our identity more strongly for commercial gain. BUT........This should not come at the expense of erasing 109 years of history and erasing the other huge parts of our identity. That is where the line should be drawn. Only with the full support of the fans should any owner change a clubs name or colours.

The fight isn't over. The name hasn't changed yet. Why would we walk away before the fight is over. We are still called Hull City A.F.C until the F.A and Premier League approve the name change. I think we should fight to the last and if come next season we have a new name, then we can vote with our feet. Think the entire thing is aimed at the casual follower, it's largely based on hype rather than substance and the length everyone goes to just to be a part of it all astounds me, it's like everyone's hypnotised. Like I say, I want us to go up to be a part of the strongest league in England, but not at the expense of some things. Even if we get up the thought of becoming someone like Sunderland who just recycle average foreign players with no connection to the club, with no real identity, makes my skin crawl. This is how I would reply to that. I realise they haven't changed the name yet, but he's insulted you enough. If our owners talked about us in such a derogatory, dismissive and patronising way I wouldn't feel like giving them my money. Personally I think you should make it clear that you cannot treat the fans this way. If it's a business to him, show him that he's doing business the wrong way. You don't take the piss out of customers like that. It seems to me that a lot of people (I'm not saying you) are willing to overlook things for a while just because they love being in the limelight of the Premier League.

Yes some have handed in their season pass but most won't. Attendance has been affected but only by about a thousand. I expect the longer this goes on the more non season ticket holders will stay away. Especially if the product on the pitch takes a dup in form. The fans he's driving away are exactly the type who would stick with it through the tough times. Owners will take advantage for as long as fans let them, either do something about it and hit the owners in the only place they will listen, or stop complaining.

Especially when your paying them 30 quid a head to enter that stadium and chant? The only language that will be understood is money, and you need to make decisions as supporters if you are going to lay down and take it with a bit of a whimper or actually fight it on their playing field. I'm not sure whether you're naive or just in denial. Would you take relegation if it meant you could keep your name? Those are the kind of questions you need to ask yourself. And also, you need to ask yourself, are you sticking around now because you want to help the team, or because you'd miss it. It's not necessarily easy abandoning the club, but sometimes you need to do difficult things for the stuff you believe in.
