Beliall Posted 14 November 2013 Posted 14 November 2013 allam sounds disagreeable bit as far as changing name goes I dont see a problem. maybe he could of approached it more diplomatically but there you go. if NO hull fans turn up for the next home game it would be epic. its the only way to get listened to I think. vote with your feet Hull fan's
ruisliptiger Posted 15 November 2013 Author Posted 15 November 2013 No Allam isn't always grumpy. The grumpiness is because he is having his ideas questioned. He's not used to that. At the moment Allam seems to be doing more good for our campaign than anything we have done. His recent spate of interviews have not gone down well at all. As with a lot of these things, it's all about winning over the silent majority. A battle we seem to be winning. Hopefully this will eventually be enough for him to drop the idea. Albiet reluctantly. If it does go through then from the evidence I can see I'd estimate perhaps at 25% drop in attendance. Sent from my GT-I9295 using Tapatalk

Sent from my GT-I9295 using Tapatalk The sad reality of this is that a drop of around 25% probably won't matter a jot to Mr Allam due to the increased TV money. Nowadays the crowd are essentially only there to create an atmosphere for Sky TV viewers.

sylofox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Hate both clubs but neither should be messed about by foreign owners signed both. Hope they remember us if anything ever happens to us.

I couldn't agree more with it's contents.I hope you don't mind too much if I mention two points. The name of the Campaign is City Till We Die, rather rhan I Die. There are many news outlets that have got that mixed up so no worries. The other less important point is the mention of the unpopular and now obsolete Humberside moniker. We are now as we have been for most of our 109 years, a part of East Yorkshire. Though Humberside is a good word to wind us up, I'm sure that isn't your intention on this occasion. Once again cheers for the well thought our article. Sent from my GT-I9295 using Tapatalk

Fox92 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 The cynic in me sees Leicester as a prime candidate. I'd love to be wrong here though. I think we will be a target for something else yet. Look at us, the owners have already got their King Power name incorporated in our ground, as well as the colours of their business on our shirt. Images of our club legends have been removed for a simple 'King Power' banner while we did have Elephants outside the ground. Our owners obviously want best for the football club, but they also want the very best for their business. If they can use Leicester City to get King Power in Europe, into Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester Airport, then I'm sure they will believe they have done well for their King Power business.

I wouldn't be surprised if in 12 months time (should we go up) we're sat here split on what we think of being called 'KP Leicester' or something like that. I don't mind them trying to improve King Power but not at the expense of things such as the club name.

Dan Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 They've gone walkabouts now. Didn't see them v Forest.
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 They've gone walkabouts now. Didn't see them v Forest. I didn't see them either. ... And we lost
LestaFox92 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Signed still think you lot are tin pot tho
lcfc1994 Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Your owner is an arrogant arsehole, I think every Hull City supporter should refund their season ticket now, what a complete cvnt.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Season ticket holders will not be balloted on the name change, but will be refunded if they don't like the new name. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-City-owner-Assem-Allam-refund-season-ticket/story-20104035-detail/story.html Time to play your card, Hull fans. Queues at the ticket office for refunds and swathes of empty seats will send a message, petitions and protests inside the stadium will not.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Here's hoping this move signals Hull Tiger's slide into the dreaded denial zone
lavrentis Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Fair play to the owners, offering this deal. Just shows how ungrateful some fans can be, premiership football with some great players and they moan because they are "Hull Tigers". Maybe they shouldn't sing "Mauled by the Tigers", if they dont want to be associated.

People will go regardless, there must be a tonne of part-timers in Hull that'll fancy it when a big boy comes to town.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 People will go regardless, there must be a tonne of part-timers in Hull that'll fancy it when a big boy comes to town. It's a big old place, but the part-timers will soon dry up when Hull get relegated either this year or soon after. Hull Tigers v Yeovil on a Tuesday night could bring about a laughable attendance, I'm genuinely mystified as to why Allam is still pursuing this. He seems to have taken the Ryanair attitude to the people who keep the club going.
