Fox92 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Only Fools and Fawlty Towers... They are my favourite programmes. I have all the series of both comedies on DVD, I know the episodes by heart, I know what line is coming next, but they never fail to make me laugh... John Cleese never fails to amuse me, the guy is tops in terms of comedy and writing.
RobHawk Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Theres loads on here that have already been mentioned (including storage hunters - incredible program) One i've not seen mentioned is Southpark. It has its crap episodes, it has its good episodes but it also has some amazing episodes! I love the way they can make them so quickly that they are always commenting on some current affairs too. Overall, i can sit down and watch a southpark episode at any time, and theres always something to laugh at.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Got Men Behaving Badly on series link (there are a few decent shows on Dave). Totally puerile stuff but you can whack it on anytime and have a good laugh. Same with Partridge.

StanSP Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 What is Storage Hunters? Never heard a bad word about it but never got round to watching it. Is it simply people buying junk and making a mint out of it?! Are the people who were responsible for the junk ever made aware of what they had?

Just people buying contents of storage units at auction and either making a mint or massively failing. Some great characters in it, ,especially "T Money" . Shaun the auction guy is a geezer. Beware though, it's sooo American

It's when these storage firms sell off unclaimed/abandoned storage boxes unseen. Personally I think it's a fix, some of the stuff found in these boxes are so unlikely. I watched it once where they discovered a mini jet engine .
foxfanazer Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 What channel is it on?Dave. As Webbo says some.of it looks set up but its still entertaining. They even bought a helicopter the other week

Its definately a fix, the people in it are acting its really obvious cvertain items will be put in with knowledge of the bidders, storage wars was better but theres no question its a fix too and now its got so bad its almost like a sitcom. I prefer American Pickers.....although with all these types of shows there has to be some staging.

Ming you i did see one episode where someone spent $500 on a empty freight box and some rubbish bags! That was pretty funny!
leicesterisme Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Only Fools and Phoenix Nights are the only 2 I cant think of which I could watch over and over again. Actually probably throw Friday Night Dinner in there aswell.
Bugg Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 When is it? Next year? Fresh Meat starts again next week Not sure if you already know, but the newest episode is on 4OD now before it's TV broadcast! Another excellent episode to start the series as well.
