Jimothy Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Watching Cardiff v Swansea earlier, Vorm was sent off late on for Swansea, and having used all 3 subs they had to stick Angel Rangel between the sticks. It got me thinking, if we were in a similar situation, where we had used all three subs, or had no sub keeper, who out of those regularly on the pitch would you stick in goal? I'd be inclined to go with either King or Nugent.
ADK Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Was did quite a good job of being goalkeeper without even using hands the other day.
Naylor118 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 I think King used to be a Keeper in junior football, so i'd say him.
cornishfox83 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Wood if he's on the pitch. Would know where to kick a back pass
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Would be one of the forwards so you would keep your back 4 and midfield intact.
Libertine Dream Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 The opposition would probably see Logan on the bench and tell us we can make 4 subs
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 One of the strikers or the worst player on the pitch. Nugent it is then
Guest Bilo Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Knockaert. Guaranteed scorpion kicks and probably a bit of Monk action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVG2zhz_KaA
Guest kristianity77 Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 GTF. Everyone knows its an unwritten rule that the fat lad always goes in goal!
????? Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Wood, coming from new Zealand must be half decent at egg chasing, therefore good with his hands
Captain... Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Who was the last outfield player to end up in goal? I remember ages ago (1992/3 I think) Richard Smith going in goal, but I'm sure there's been a couple more since then. Personally I would stick Wood in goal big lad, fearless not going to duck when the ball gets blasted at his head. Edit: Of course it was Theo, hence the comment above, anyone else?
MattyFromLE Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Urgh, g'wan then. Give me the gloves and i'll do it.
Aus Fox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Peter will come down from the stands and replace his son.
Hitesh Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Whoever is big and mobile. Steve Howard He said big and mobile!
sylofox Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Alan young as he did not conceed in over 45 mins last time. Or Stevie Lynex he did well too lol

Wasn't it Tunchev v Crystal Palace when we were in League 1?
