Ford coaches two junior football teams, and was nearly removed from office when he was found to have accepted improper donations on behalf of his private football foundation.

The Toronto Star found that Ford’s aides’ used “a significant portion of their workday†to help the teams. He also has missed city council meetings and left executive meetings early to uphold his duties coaching the Don Bosco Eagles high school football team.

Toronto transit passengers were told in November 2012 to get off a busso it could be re-routed to pick up a football team playing an away game. It was raining.

 

Ford initially denied even being present at an April 2006 Toronto Maple Leafs game at which he drunkenly harassed a couple. After the couple asked him to be quiet, he said: "Do you want your little wife to go over to Iran and get raped and shot?" He was subsequently removed from the game, and only later admitted to having been there.

 

This guy is doing everything right for me at the moment. Got caught on video smoking crack, his excuse? He was wasted on booze. A day later another video and this time he's ranting about wanting to murder someone, apparently pissed out of his head again lol

of course it has, Canadians love a drunken politician, since the 19th century its been the in thing for politicians in canada to be smashed out of their faces 24/7

It's not just Tronna. Glasgow's top politician was caught smoking the pink pipe of a rent boy in a local carpark, much to the chagrin of his civil partner.

His predecessor was forced out of office after being videoed hoovering up the disco dust in a pub run by gangsters.

No-one up here dropped their trousers in front of a classroom full of kids, though...

I heard Eddie Izzard want to run for Mayor of London soon. Can see him being a less conversational version of Rob Ford.
