bluesbrothers Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 No, of course I don't think that.I just thought I'd give the ****** somewhere to talk amongst themselves, given that this result will inevitably bring them oozing out of the woodwork.
Finnaldo Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 I'd imagine seenitall is so excited that he's got hick c0ck out and windmilling in celebration.
pazzerfox Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 This is what happens when we get our disabled supporters say things like "we will win 4-0" or "We will hammer Florist". This result was always on the cards and makes some supporters who spout their mouth off look stupid!
bluesbrothers Posted 9 November 2013 Author Posted 9 November 2013 To be honest, I almost expected this to happen given the over-the-top build up from the club. I know it's a local derby against our rivals, but their awful PR was just teasing a crap result - cringeworthy after all the complaints about Watford giving it large last week. That said, this sell-out defeat might keep some of the fair weather fans away for a little bit.
Renart Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 What is this use of the word 'disabled'? It is a horrible word and pretty offensive (you do know that it is slang word for spastic?). Come on guys!

It was just a bad day at the office, we move on and come back ready for the next game.

No, what i'me saying is that we should all know by now that the Championship is a very tight league and you can throw the form book out of the window when a local derby is at stake. Some fans forget this and spout off without thinking. But yes, I hear what you're saying...Forget this game, move on and improve.
Bryn Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 What is this use of the word 'disabled'? It is a horrible word and pretty offensive (you do know that it is slang word for spastic?). Come on guys! What do you think spastic is, the official term?
Renart Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 What do you think spastic is, the official term? Well no actually my first post was a little inaccurate. Spastic is a non-offensive medical term for a muscle condition associated with cerebral palsy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spastic_cerebral_palsy At least it was non-offensive until it was re-appropriated by people in the 80s to be a general insult. The charity Scope, which was once called The Spastic Society, had to change its name as a result of its misuse. How sad is it that a charity has to re-brand itself because idiots re-appropriate a name to be a term of abuse? The term 'disabled' does not refer to this disability but is used in a very similar way to draw an unfavorable comparison with someone with a disability. 'disabled' is derived from 'mongoloid' and 'mongolism', which is itself offensive, a 19th cent. term used to describe someone with Down's Syndrome. You know what you mean when you say it and it is offensive. Read this: http://www.theguardian.com/society/joepublic/2011/oct/19/ricky-gervais-disabled-twitter If you know anyone with Down's Syndrome you will now how offensive it is to them and their families. And if you don't then that is still no excuse. Hope that helps and now you are educated you will completely understand my objection and stop f**king using it!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 International Break is the reason I tell you.

This result was always on the cards and makes some supporters who spout their mouth off look stupid! I genuinely believed we would win comfortably yesterday, same as I predicted we would win 3-0 at Watford. My forecast /prediction was exactly that and that does not make me a disabled or stupid it was wrong that is all. If I apply the same logic as your post then you sir are a pr ick.

I hope when you and your like are old enough to use your penis for its other function rather than peeing, you aren't unfortunate enough to have a child with disabilities, where for no fault of their own it gets abused by low life scum like you.

Just re reading your pathetic response, if disabled people can't use a computer, but obviously with me replying to it i can, how can I be acting like one? Just about sums up your intelligence, tw@t 😃
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Firstly, I think the use of the word "disabled" is hugely insulting, but it is, thank goodness only used by a small faction of insensitive fools. I'm not going to slag off Pearson and the team, on the basis of one bad result, and will continue to back them until the end of the season. What we all have to do, players and fans alike, is to take it on the chin like grown men, dust ourselves down, move on, and prepare for the next game. All supporters should rally behind the team, and vocally show that they are proud of our club. I have loved this club from 1960, to this day, and am very proud to support it. Come on City, grit your teeth and prepare for battle.
