Sykes999 Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Found it embarrassing yesterday when we went 2-0 down and our fans just shutup, look at leeds fans, why cant we do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzmkL4TV0do
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Because we aren't Leeds fans. Our are more fickle than vocal.
lavrentis Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Because Leeds both, have the best home and away support?
Out Foxed Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Because Leeds both, have the best home and away support? you what mate?

LCFC FOX Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I'm certain in we was 5-0 down we would sing more, you tend to sing more if you were 5-0 down than 1-0/ 2-0
LMlcfc Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Did try, but was hard/depressing watching the performance.wasn't a good night
Naylor118 Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 When you are that far down, you accept defeat and just make the most of it. We were 2-0 down against our rivals, where people are getting more annoyed then atmospheric.
Number 6 Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Because we've not been 5-0 down for a long while?
elangLCFC Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I actually think the fans have been excellent this season, there were songs going the minute after we conceded yesterday and I think all season we've had a much better support than I can remember in previous years
Kitchandro Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I remember going to the City Ground and we were 4-0 down and our fans were great. As Naylor says when you're getting thrashed like that sometimes you just try and make fun of it. Yesterday was an awful match and it was a slow death. Most suspected we were finished by half time but there was still faint hope that just kept leading to frustration.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 The one thing I notice at the KP is how our fans (and not only L1 but all over) stop singing when we concede. We really do have some rubbish fans at present, in terms of singing. The place should have been rocking yesterday, whatever the score was.
Dan Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Must admit the penalty miss pretty much killed my enthusiasm although did still sing a bit. Ours tend to give up when we go a goal behind.
LCFC FOX Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I keep reading posts saying the KOP was good all game, I'm sorry but was I the only one to hardly hear them? I did notice a lot more standing thought especially where the fosse boys were
Deucalion Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Left 5 minutes early yesterday and got home to Cradley Heath 45 minutes earlier. Probably makes me a bad fan but the football was crap and I was going out.

Soup Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 It don't make you a bad fan at all, sometimes there's no point in staying to the end and clapping after a poor display.I don't agree with booing but leaving a few mins early is no crime.
Ian W LCFC Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I sang throughout the first half, but to be honest with you the second half performance was so shit it didn't really inspire me to make any noise. It just made me want to sit there with my face in my hands.

I was there that game and it remains my one and only trip to that side of the Trent... Always remember the bloke in the forests end with the Viking helmet on screaming for Lars Bohenan continually throughout the game and getting drowned out by the blue army! Happy days!

I did notice a lot more standing thought especially where the fosse boys were maybe. And in the kop we couldn't hear l1 whats your point? infact I was surprised how quick wly died out each time early in the game. Family stand normally loves it.

dayday Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 We have no songs of note, and what we do sing are utter shit and cringeworthy, hopefully one of these days we can get a deliala of our own like Stoke city ,bloody hell there must be some one out there that can get the ball rolling.

anotherharboroughfox Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 SK1 was decent. Don't get to as many games as I'd like to due to other commitments but can guarantee chants pretty much all game there when I do get to go. Whenever I have gone in J3 in the past I've found myself singing on my own, even when we're winning, and being laughed at by some kids who spend the whole game on their phones.
