Webbo Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 She has been very harshly treated... I can't see how she was at fault this time... According to the commentators it's been harsh at least twice, I don't know enough about it to judge but if I was her I think I'd hang up my skates and tell them to stuff it.
Bayfox Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Elise Christie has been disqualified yet again. Hatrick!!
Northants Fox 3 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 looked like she was took out to me, useless officials I watched the semi and then the final, the other Chinese girl that made the final appeared to reach out and try to pull the Korean back but failed by a fingertip to do so..........The BBC think that Christie was disqualified for a lane change before that corner were she was taken out

Jordan Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 It's painful to see the USA lose in a medal round by Canada for the third time in 12 years. Simply put, though, Canada was the better team yesterday. They did a phenomenal job keeping possession in the USA's zone, and their defensive play was top-notch. Poor Jonathan Quick--he stood on his head all game for the team, and his skaters couldn't even chip in with one goal. This USA team was good enough to pull up some trees in Sochi, but Canada has a knack of turning it on at just the right time. I know the North American teams often struggle on the larger European ice, but we can't use that as an excuse considering it was Canada we lost to. We'll see how the team comes out playing for bronze vs. Finland. I've got to root for Sweden tomorrow, though--partly because they've been my pick to win this for a few months, but especially because I've gotta root for King Henrik.
StanSP Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 at that above (the Wii Curling, not the Pussy whipping Anyone excited for the Paralympic Winter Games starting 7th March? I expect to be fully blown away even more so than I was over the past 2 weeks at some feats from some of the athletes.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Anyone seen the Downhill sit skiers at the Winter Paralympics? Looks more fun than ordinary skiing. TBJS would love this.
