MPH Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I think I could quite easily kick him all the balls several times. As hard as possible....
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I'd happily stab Rigby's killers in their eyes using a spoon
jonthefox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I couldn't do it. I just don't have it in me.
kingcarr21 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 i would get him a forest season ticket and force him to go to every game. (Cant think of a worse punishment)
Zingari Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I doubt if i could do it at close quarters by bludgeoning stabbing etc. . Maybe this is why all Bond villains devise elaborate delayed deaths for him. Somehow killing remotely makes it easier . The ancient Persians devised a way of slow torturous death by smearing the person in honey , trapping him inside a hollowed out trunk and letting the insects and wildlife do the dirty work . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaphism Could we be more capable of doing horrific things this way?
indierich06 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Definitely not. I could never allow these despicable, disgusting people to bring me down to their level. Because the minute I pick up that blunt instrument, I become like them. Chuck them in a hole and leave them to rot by all means, but as a society we cannot stoop to the level of these sub-normal degenerates, because the day we do that - they win. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

If someone stabs Ian Watkins or Lee Rigbys killers in prison they are still nowhere near on the level of them considering what they have done. There is a huge difference between harming those who have done nothing to people and harming those who have caused nothing but misery to people.
AndWhat? Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 If I had a button that I could press that would kill him and I didn't have to see him actually die, then yes I could kill him. But any normal person would be scared for life after killing someone, no matter how much of a scum bag they are.
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Im not sure they would EVER feel guilt or self loathing. Im pretty convinced that they thought what they were doing was the right thing to do and that they will probably be rewarded for it in the next life. Therefore, the only punishment I can see is to make this life a very long and painful one. Break their backs, their knees and their arms and leave them, in a shitty hole somewhere, with minimal food and water and no pain relief to suffer and suffer and suffer. I couldnt do the breaking though. I know that.

Well sorry if you think it's 'complete hippy bollocks', but I'm not letting any ****ing child molester or soldier killer turn me into a murderer. End of.
FoxyPV Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Probably not. It may be different if I walked in on the act. A lifetime of solitary confinement and bread and water would be a more apt punishment.
notnow john Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Impossible to say unless you are in the situation. Not sure if I could torture someone at all, especially in some horrific way. I'd have no problem putting a bullet in the back of Watkins or those two savages heads though, I've only shot animals and never a human and I regard those as lower than a pheasant or a fox. You've shot a FOX!!!!Thought they'd be safe on here!
lavrentis Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Compile a list of the top 30 offenders. Stick them on the Isle of Man & have them fight it out Battle Royale style
Bettsj2 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Without hesitation I'd kill them. No torture or beating first, just as quick as possible.
lavrentis Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I would love life to mean life in prison but I don't think the ECHR will allow that. Watkins has not directly affected me so I probably couldn't kill him but a life behind bars in an old fashioned small cell is the only way i think, no xboxes or tv's, just 4 walls to stare at 'Nam style.
stix Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 There's no way I could beat somebody to death, but if there were to be no repercussions on me....then yeah, I could put a bullet in his head. At the same time though, sticking him in a filthy hole to live in his own pìss and shìt for the rest of his sorry life would be a decent way for him to die as well.
MPH Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Just to add to the discussion.... do people Consider there to be a difference between killing and murdering?
Bayfox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I'd happily flick a switch on someone who was a pedo. The thought of it being my kids makes me sick. other crimes such as rape. Maybe not so harsh. but life should mean life. and if we cant bring back the death penalty. Then chop of their hands, cocks and tattoo **** on their foreheads so we know.
Bettsj2 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Just to add to the discussion.... do people Consider there to be a difference between killing and murdering? Huge difference. A mercy killing in the battlefield of war isnt murder for instance.
AdamN Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Nope. He's already got 29 years in prison, and I'd consider that to be far worse than a 5 minute beating, so I believe justice has been served. But there are a couple of things that could change that: 1. If I had an emotional connection to the case, e.g. it was a member of my family/a friend that he had raped. Can't say I could hold back in that situation. 2. If I knew he was guilty but he'd got off scot free. That wouldn't be justice, so he'd deserve more than a good kicking, from me and/or a few hired goons.
DennisNedry Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Old argument about prison conditions crops up again. Life in a Victorian style prison (and I mean life) is apt punishment. 20 years in low end B&B quality accommodation doesn't cut it for me.
The People's Hero Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 I think if it was your own child/someone you loved, then yes, anything is possible. That love you have for your children makes some pretty scary things very possible.
MrBojangly Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 Does anyone actually call for torture in these things? That would worry me. Clinically killing someone is one thing, but torture is an emotional response and not one of a civilised person. I would never be able to torture or kill anyone I suspect. And I see that as a strength not a weakness

Ask anyone who has been inside. It can reduce the toughest bloke to tears at time. I know people that have served time.
