billyn88 Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 LM was very shakey in the first half, as was De Laet. Immense improvement in the second though. On another note, I was pleased to see Wes back to his imperious best.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 I thought he deserved man of the match tbh.
Filbert_Ross Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Don't get the clamouring for Miquel. He's a very tidy player and a decent defender but most of our defeats have come with him in the side. Liam has got a massive future in the game. First I've heard of this clamouring.
cuddly ken Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Liam Moore is he fat? You bet your Hat! Turning into a right fat bloater, get him down to Weightwatchers!
HEGGSY Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Liam Moore is he fat? You bet your Hat! Turning into a right fat bloater, get him down to Weightwatchers! Awful trolling. Just terrible. Keep trying though, you'll get there one day
cityfanlee23 Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Broken nose, Could somebody point me in the direction of this source? As I would say it sounds like billy bullshit... I won't say it's untrue but without having seen this anywhere I won't say i believe it...

leicesterseddon Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Have to agree with much of what has been said. Miquel is a decent player, but Moore has outshone him this season - you can tell he's more committed, which is to be expected I suppose given that he's an academy product on a contract with us, whereas Miquel is only on a temporary loan from Arsenal. Moore can perhaps feel a bit aggreived that he's had to spend spells on the bench this season, often when his performances haven't deserved it. Miquel's contract will include a mandatory number of starting appearances (otherwise why would Arsenal let him come here?), meaning that Pearson has had to disrupt our most successful CB pairing from time to time to fit him in. So far it arguably hasn't done us any damage, but it will be interesting to see how this aspect develops in the new year. So glad that loanees are at a minimum now in the squad - people often forget that they nearly always come with strings attached from the parent club and that this can constrain the ability of a manager to pick the team he wants. I often think this was actually one of the major things wrong during Sven's time in charge - nearly half the first eleven didn't belong to us and it showed.
ollielawrence Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Cuddly Ken... Would you please remove yourself from this message board. You post nothing but utter tripe! Your views are more welcome in tree land, go and support them or the sheep, and take ssl abd he's over inflated ego with you
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 He tweeted saying it after the match. Looks like citylee is right then

Guest Col city fan Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Destined for the Prem is Liam. With or without City I think.
Happy Fox Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 i have been more impressed with him at CB than I have with Morgan this season. A Wasyl- Moore partnership would be equally as good as a Morgan - Moore partnership. Should Morgan decide that he wants to f**k off to the Redshite.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 If De Laet gets injured again would people rathure us break up the Moore/Morgan partnership, move LM to RB and stick Was/Miguel with Morgan. Or do you break the CB pairing at your peril and stick Was at RB where he looks so shakey?

I dont dislike Was but some of his challenges on the edge of our box are near suicide. He jumped in/went to ground with a player running at him on Saturday, and then, I thought, was lucky to not give away a foul for obstruction in the box.

Or do you break the CB pairing at your peril and stick Was at RB where he looks so shakey? I'd put Moore at right back then Miquel at centre back. Though I do like Moore & Morgan in the centre I'd rather have Moore at right back instead of Was who I think looks a bit of a shaky.
Johnny Cash Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Him and Morgan have to be our centre back partnership. If they can get used to playing with each other week in week out we will start getting more clean sheets. They were fine before Moore was dropped... His exclusion from the team was bemusing. Our lack of pressure on the ball is why we concede so many.
Walshy5 Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Was will definitely play in the bolton game as the anderlecht fans are coming.
Soar Fox Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 Was will definitely play in the bolton game as the anderlecht fans are coming. I doubt Pearson would choose his team selection just to satisfy a group of fans.
Corky Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 I doubt Pearson would choose his team selection just to satisfy a group of fans. If he did we'd start like this: Schmeichel Moore Taft Was Schlupp Knockaert Danns James Hopper Paniyoutou Wood
Danno Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 If he did we'd start like this: Schmeichel Moore Taft Was Schlupp Knockaert Danns James Hopper Paniyoutou Wood Viva George Taft..
Soar Fox Posted 24 December 2013 Posted 24 December 2013 What's actually happened to George Taft? He's not out on loan and I haven't saw him in the under 21's development squads.
