foxfanazer Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Totally agree with you mate, ill be there for sure. This is when you separate the real fans from the plastics!!Silly comment
Voll Blau Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Let the moaners moan and boycott all they want, won't stop us supporters being there to cheer the lads on:) All this chap was saying is get behind ur local side & make it a 12th man and all we people do is wanna moan about tickets ffs-.- rather the plastics stay at home coz all they do is moan all game anyway -__- Yeah man, loyal supporters yeah! If ur watching on the tele ur a cvnt! When I get to games, I stand and sing all game. Not that I should have to justify myself to you but hey ho. Good luck to you in the big wide world if you never have to make a choice between spending money on LCFC and other, more important stuff.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Author Posted 31 December 2013 If I wasn't going I know where I'd be heading. It'll be carnage down Ashby that night
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Can see both sides of the argument. If you don't wanna go, fair enough, your own choice. If I didn't have a season ticket I'd probably fork out £30 for this anyway, massive game and in my case, it gives me such a buzz and enjoyment. Those belittling people for not attending are idiots, likewise the people not going having a dig at the people who are going for being 'mugs'. spot on lad
The Year Of The Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Author Posted 31 December 2013 We're on a hiding to nothing here. The shit kick off time combined with the even shitter pricing means this game won't hit 25k and it should be an absolute sell out. But give me yesterday and boxing day's support over that horror show against Man City. For the record I think Friday night kick offs are great (if you can make it) Imagine going out in town after should we beat these!
Guest MattP Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 For the record I think Friday night kick offs are great (if you can make it) Imagine going out in town after should we beat these! I used to love them when I had half a day on Fridays. If you work normal times though they are a nightmare, means you end up in the ground without dinner, hungry, rushed and sober. All three things I hate being at the footy.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Author Posted 31 December 2013 I like them. Yeh you're rushed but its a race to see how many cans you can get down your neck whilst getting home from work, in the bath and then on the way The less time you have the stronger the drinks become. Ie- 5 pints in the counting house becomes 4 cans of carling, a few desperado and a couple of jagerbombs
Guest MattP Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 not a bad idea I saw a guy at half time in the East Stand agaisnt Reading sneaking sips out of a large bottle of Gentlemen Jack in his coat.
lestajigs Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Love Friday nights gates tbf, it's more then likely going to be first v second, local derby, even at the prices we should pull in over 24000
Stadt Posted 1 January 2014 Posted 1 January 2014 The Friday night game against Bristol City in 2010-11(?) was fantastic where Waghorn scored in the last minute.

Bayfox Posted 1 January 2014 Posted 1 January 2014 I like friday night game. Finish work a little early. Get in town in time for 4 hrs drinking. Find a curry house. then out after the game. Spin in casino.

Some people genuinely can't afford to go to games for £30 so why wouldn't they take advantage of watching it on sky. I'm not going to be able to make this one unfortunately which im gutted about
Leicesterpool Posted 1 January 2014 Posted 1 January 2014 This will sell out no doubt, I can imagine all police leave cancelled!
Guest Bilo Posted 1 January 2014 Posted 1 January 2014 I must admit, the last two Friday night games I've been to have ended in utter carnage. Waggy's winner against Bristol City but the celebrations after winning League One on a Friday night were just stupid, the whole of Leicester was rocking that night.

Dan Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 The Friday night game against Bristol City in 2010-11(?) was fantastic where Waghorn scored in the last minute. £20 tickets with a free pie & pint leads to a near sell out on a Friday night in a very average fixture. Shame LCFC has so many people working for them that blatantly aren't football fans.
JonnyBoy Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Totally agree with you mate, ill be there for sure. This is when you separate the real fans from the plastics!! What a stupid thing to say.. grow up
