£30 + quid on the train without even thinking about the ticket and staying the night. No chance I'm afraid and the only home game I missed before Xmas was Leeds.

What's the going rate for a blowjob?

dunno you tell me but I want one free with my season ticket. Can I have the pie and pint with my extra ticket!!

I'm someone who still gets a buzz out of beating the sheep from up the road, especially when we're both in the positions we are.

But paying £30+ isn't a sacrifice, it's mugging yourself off. Where do you draw the line before you stop attending - £40/£50/60?

It's also mugging off your fellow fans. For all people moan about ticket prices, when are they going to change if people keep paying them?

It's no coincidence there was a bigger crowd yesterday with the Merc's ticket offer. People can go on about part-timers or plastics all they want, but the fact is people want value for money - something they rarely get at football in England.

I boycotted the Notts Forest match due to the ticket price and I'll do the same for Derby. I don't think that I'll be the only one.

I boycotted sky years ago when I realised I was being ripped off.40 odd quid a month to sit in my own lounge.F$$k that.

Leicester v Derby is going to be absolutely massive. I know its on tele, I know the prices are absolutely ridiculou BUT we NEED to be the 12th man for this. So come on City fans, dig deep into those pockets and let's roar them on in another 6 pointer

Too right mate. Good on you. Lets be positive. Unfortunately was just the moaning ticket price fans excuse to come on and start moaning again. Yes some of us earn more than others and yes some of us make sacrifices so we can go to the footy. Old 'year of the fox', like me was probably just a bit excited about being where we are at the moment and wanted to celebrate it with a big crowd getting behind our boys in blue. Happy new year all and cheer the f up

Am I plastic because I was planning on travelling from home to the game (6 hours travelling and 100 quid costs) but now as its on the tele, im gonna watch it at home?

Damn hate that saying "plastic" so naive

To be honest mate, I thought you were being ironic after talking about missing games due to finances. You've since made a few good points though.

On a personal note, I'd much rather be able to watch this on TV and go to Stoke. I get to watch 2 games then (one away), rather than shelling out a shitload for a Friday night game, that I can watch on my sofa.Like most, I'd gladly go if I had the funds but I sacrificed my season ticket this year due to increasing prices and I can't see any justification of these prices.

No-one who boycotted the Forest game because it was expensive got to see if it made a difference or not, because it was full. I think they will this time, and I can't see it being much more than 20,000 what with Derby's notorious following. It's a shame, because as you rightly say - it's a massive game. I refuse to pay that much for a January-Friday second-tier game on TV, however. Prices have just as much bearing on attendance as importance. It's really that simple.

The perks of having a season ticket, of course.

We all want big crowds and great atmospheres but whoop de fvcking doo, you're in a position to shell out £30+ for a game like this. Well done you. Some fans, passionate fans, aren't. Maybe if we as football supporters stopped equating a willingness to be robbed blind for our loyalty as "passionate support", tickets wouldn't  as much of a rip-off as they are now.

Boohoo. Never mentioned the word passionate we just thought it would be nice to have a big crowd for a big game. And yes knew everyone would start to cry about ticket prices. Or some muppet would come on and say he is not traveling 100miles because it is on tele.

Nothing to do with it being on tele for me. Just not prepared to have a club I've devoted untold hours and years of my life, not to mention the thousands of miles travelled following them, mug me off. There's no justification for the prices LCFC are charging for this match.

Let the moaners moan and boycott all they want, won't stop us supporters being there to cheer the lads on:) All this chap was saying is get behind ur local side & make it a 12th man and all we people do is wanna moan about tickets ffs-.- rather the plastics stay at home coz all they do is moan all game anyway -__-

When was the decision made for this to be a sky game? and when did the club announce it was a platenium fixture? And tickets go on sale?

If sky announced first it's a rediculos decision to be a platenium fixture if the club already announced this as a platenium fixture and commenced selling tickets them sky added it their hands are tied as they can't reduce the price once on sale.

Can see both sides of the argument. If you don't wanna go, fair enough, your own choice. If I didn't have a season ticket I'd probably fork out £30 for this anyway, massive game and in my case, it gives me such a buzz and enjoyment.

Those belittling people for not attending are idiots, likewise the people not going having a dig at the people who are going for being 'mugs'.

I assume this was meant for me? You'd never see me knock anyone who financially struggles to make games. I'm in a dire situation atm. I'd rather be at the Derby game than Stoke though obviously being able to see two matches does make sense.
